- Take off their respirator "so they can breath better"

So overall, how are the forums doing ever since Jeffry took over? This thread has died down a bit -- I imagine Something Awful just continues its slow slide into nothingness as the trans userbase dies off from HRT induced osteoporosis and heart disease?

What's even the main draw for signing up these days -- do they have a hidden, members only forum for locating the best estrogen suppliers?

large(ish) extremely gullible user base that is so in love with the idea of "goon solidarity" like it's still 2004 they'll throw money at/crowd fund fucking anything, especially if you have a sob story about losing your job or getting cancer

The same very slow slide into irrelevancy that has been the case for the past half decade or more.

This thread has been dead for a while, it only got injections of activity when Lowtax made drama and the only drama he causes now is in hell. To continue that apt analogy, all we're doing now is like always watching the worms struggle over the rotting corpse Lowtax created.

I think the current draw for sign ups is alt-accounts; parachutes and sockpuppets. Beyond that, the unique signups are people craving a tankie hugbox where they can froth about Biden not destroying the country with socialism fast enough, and complaining about islamaphobia and racism in america while making excused for China rounding up their muslim minority and raping them into non-existance.

You have them in TFR, where they gather up a list of problematic companies and send bitchy emails at them; You have them in SAS where they bitch about sportsball broadcasters failing to suck [flavor of the month virtue signaller]'s dick hard enough; You have them in Traditional Games where they bitch about there being nerds who aren't of the bugman mold in the hobby; and of course the obligatory threads about how not writing tumblr-tier genderwank is fascism in every subforum dedicated to any medium of media.

This is so spot on. I think the only thread I haven't seen get shitted up with goons clambering over themselves to virtue signal is the Simpsons Crap Memes thread. It remains blessedly pure and since most if not all are stolen from other sites, has hints of wrongthink that would be bannable anywhere else on the site.

This is an accurate summation of modern SA.

Its not even fun to mock anymore because its just pages of same-think because anyone without the approved viewpoints either only lurks or has already been banned. Every single post is a bigger loser, there is no opposite side - the only fight is between the commies and "Should we be sort of tankie or EXTREMELY tankie?"; before if you got enough mod awareness on the mentally ill they'd get a ban or probe. Now its normal and the only discourse left.

I wouldn't exactly call all of them Tankies. It's only accurate as a description to C-SPAM vatniks who lick Russian and PRC boots because they believe that somehow, by exchanging one empire for another the world will somehow be more equal instead of it just being a society where some are more equal than others. Ideal society is an American caricature of Amsterdam merged with Soviet Concrete Bloc city number 253267, just with everyone playing Paradox games in programmer socks instead of actually working.
