It's more because every goddamn post past a certain point was troons complaining about everything and everyone else on the forums until Fluffdaddy shut all that down. The troons then felt "unsafe" and fucked off elsewhere.

It was probably the best modding SA had in several years

In truth, and honestly I love this, the great race space subforum is dead because there are vanishingly few non-white people and actual true and honest women on Somethingawful. Its very much a site that reflects the fact that it hasn't truly changed its userbase in any significant manner from when it was in its heyday in the early 2000s, so accordingly its dominated by basic white shut in male nerds.

Its probably the most inactive forum on the whole fucking site, look at the front page for it right now, at the bottom of page 1 it has threads where the last post was more than 2 years ago, In contrast, the next most inactive part of the site is, to nobody's surprise, the subforum for goons to go outside and do something physically active in the great outdoors, the thread at the bottom of page 1 there had its last post in November 2021.

Funnily enough, TGRS was considerably more active for a while when one specific thread was moved to it, but that thread was later moved to BYOB. That thread, of course, was the troon issues thread.
 
At that weight/height that "person" is less of a women and more of a genderless blob just banging around. Man/Women who could tell? Its a walking blob of HFCS burning it pale skin in the sun.
 
Reminder that Something Awful is where Chris Chan first became known to the internet and where people like Hbomberguy originated from. I can't think of any other place besides Channel Awesome and Tumblr that unleashed so much cancer onto the internet.
