I have to wonder.

LowT ripped off goons, neglected the place, allowed the cat lady to the troons to shit it up, there were 3 versions of anti SA sites. SASS, THE NEW EFFORT, and Something sensitive. All gone.

Now that richard is dead, and there is only about 2000 active posters, the current group of mods are lowest teir level mentally ill jannies for the trannies.

Why is it now getting sued and DDOS?

I wonder if Jeff pissed off someone? I know most of SA politics are done off site in IRC channels and later discords.

omg maybe ZDR is wanting to get paid for all the work he did.

I legitimately think that Lowtax was so high on pills he didn't respond to any legal threats so nobody found out about it.

Real guess? Lowtax was probably paying out the ass for everything, and that included Angry-Goon insurence aka DDOS protection like it as was still 2005. Jeff probably scaled back the hosting package to stop wasting money, and discovered that he does need the anti-troon chimp out DDOS protection.

Lowtax/SA did get sued or impotently threatened with legal action regularly. That's how he formed his persona "Leonard J Crabbs" and would respond to angry emails as "the lawyer" and would subsequently post the conversations on the site, to further amplify whatever they were trying to hide. Much like KF does, but with Lowtax's wacky zany bullshit to further anger the other party.

Later on, I want to say around 2010 Lowtax quit posting about bullshit legal threats, but he would still get them. I imagine when someone actually managed to file something in court and he got a real lawyer, he was told not to talk (of course) and had to actually deal with the problem.

I do not have documentation but I know that Dan Lirette, who was pretty much the original lolcow, sued Lowtax/SA sometime around 2010 ostensibly wanting his thread removed. I don't know of the outcome but I imagine it was not successful.

So yes, there were legal threats and Lowtax had to deal with them. Also don't forget at least a couple of times he had the men in black show up over stupid ass threats to murder the current president in the LF subforum. Suffice to say he was not amused

I don't know if I want places like SA to die off, it's going to create a refugee crisis of insufferable people into other sites. I'd rather have the nutjob wearing a full face respirator to work types and desperate virtue signalling losers stick to their retard zone than ruin another site.

Jeff already has a lawyer, the one who helped him buy the forums without also taking on Lowtax's $100,000 tax debt. When you have enough money, a Lawyer is just another professional you have a contact for.

So that guy is probably just handling any legal complaints.
