Partially, but it also feels like they legitimately skipped the part of art class that said to not overdo the details.

Or just outright skipped art class. Either or.

They also don't like seeing midriff for some reason. Even if a female manages to be non-offensive in every other way (i.e. fully armored/covered), seeing midriff changes all that.

I found this line from the poster of the second link eye-rolling: "Whenever my friends play cards like this, I feel compelled to cover their exposed parts with pennies. It makes taking them out a lot easier on my conscience if I don’t have to think about how disadvantaged they are with that so-called “armor” they’re forced to wear."

EDIT: I also went to that poster's tumblr and while some of those outfits are bad, they seem to miss the point of female spell casters. They don't wear armor (leather at the most) since it can interfere with spells and it's a game balancing mechanic.
 
I wonder what they feel about the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG. I mean, they don't have to cover the character's cleavage with coins or stare at DD breast since Konami already did that for them.

Yeah, I guess. It's from Japan, so no. I'm pretty curious since some of them gave a shit bout MTG, which Yu-Gi-Oh takes inspiration from.
 
Japan is an iffy subject since it's a non-white culture. I know Escher girls has critiqued stuff from there.

Given how obsessed these people are in making sure that females are covered up and armored, I wonder if casters, archers, or rogues even exist in their headcanons.
 
I've never been a weeb, but I'm increasingly appreciating that the Japanese just really don't give a flying fuck what crazy gaijin babblers think. They don't understand it and they don't care.
