Eh, that's not entirely inaccurate, though I think it's overly negative. I think a lot of girls have body image issues because of overly stringent standards for women, so instead of taking the more mature option of "I'm just going to do my best and not worry about whether I look like Scarlett Johansen," they get bitter and feel like they have to fight back. I can understand why some of them feel the way they do, but the way they handle it makes them look about as mature as your average Loveshy.

There's a difference between being happy with your body and knowing that there's someone out there who likes you for who you are, and trying to attack and disparage anyone who's even a smidgen better looking than you.

Basically, I think they don't understand the difference between fighting peer pressure and reversing peer pressure.

I'll admit that I do like the lion king ones even If the yellow under Simba's eyes looks kind of weird.
 
That's pretty cool. The humans resemble their animal counterparts. I like it. I would rather not know the context of what the drawing's about, though
 
Honestly those designs really aren't that bad at all. I'm actually a bit fond of them. The animals from Africa are Africans as humans, the animals from India are Indian as humans, and the cats and dogs,save for the red one, are given skin tones that match or complement their furs. It's not great, but its a huge step up from the standard stuff on this board.

Moving on, Go Make Me a Sandwich deemed the female character designs of Magic: the Gathering to be problematic. Lilliana seems to get most of the criticism about sexuality, and apparently, the art for Akroma's new artwork makes it look like she's going to hump her sword like a pole dancer. Umm, the sword is just on the opposite side compared to the other example, which is not the original artwork for Akroma, by the way. (She had three different artworks for the Wrath version, and two for the Fury "alter-ego".)

Yeah, at the very least there was some effort put into them. Which is more than I can say for most of the eye-seering things called "art" in this topic.

I don't think you guys got the point of my post, but that's 100% my fault since I didn't explain myself. It was like 1 in the morning when I posted that and I just woke up, words were not my friend at the moment. So allow me to explain myself right not, I don't actually hate these redraws, I genuinely like most of them.

There were a couple reasons why I posted these redraws despite them being considered good.
  1. As a palette cleanser, because the last couple of posts have been making my eyes bleed. So when I found some sjw art that didn't sear my corneas I knew I had to post it.
  2. Originally I was just going to post the last picture, then I decided to post the rest of the compilation as a reference. I don't actually think any of the other pictures are bad.
  3. To show case how the artist only redraw the characters as people of color(p.s I hate this fucking phrase so much). Notice how the artist only redrew characters that could be considered ethic and generally avoided Disney movies that were set in Europe, with the last two being the exceptions. It's really telling that the only charter that was draw as white was the one who original design was whiter than a ghost.
The particular drawing I wanted to call attention to was the last one. It boggles my mind why the artist drew Thomas like they did.

First of all they gave his skin color a Ganondorf-esque shade of black, which is really bizarre and off-putting. Especially since the character name is Thomas O'Malley, which is one of the most Irish things I have ever heard. Then I guessed inspired by the overly Irish name they gave him orange hair and freckles. And to top it all of they gave him vitiligo, which paired with his black skin and red hair, makes him look disturbing. Perhaps that was the intention but It really looks terrible, especially next to the others.

Also I love looking at the order of the pictures. Notice how the further you go down the more generic the drawings get(with the exception of the lion king ones). It's like watching the artists slowly descend into SJWness.

I was browsing some shitty Tumblr art and I noticed that they tend to draw female characters in their 20's as saggy wraiths with pronounced age lines and hunched posture. What's that all about? Part of SJW's ongoing war against anything attractive?

Anything that has tits, ass, and a beautiful face and figure is an SJWs worst nightmare. If a character makes them feel insecure about themselves or goes against their views, they'll scream MUHSOGGYKNEES.

They think that adding things like age lines, wrinkles, and hairy legs makes the characters more "realistic", but what they're really doing is making teenage or 20-something characters look like 50-year-old chain smokers.

Sexually attractive fictional women are all created by and for men, obviously. Real Women™ hate aesthetics and appeal.
