After looking at all the complaints from the cyberprudes, I have to wonder if they ever have any fun or feel secure about anything.

I mean, come on, Renaissance masters just loved sculpting and painting men and women I'm sure were a lot hotter than anyone IRL, were impractically dressed (or naked, see depictions of David and Aphrodite), and just as triggering as modern day art, but I can't recall any historical movement against their work, and let's be honest, while modern day SJWs bitch about half nudity, there was total nudity in vogue back in the day and no historical text I ever read recorded the kind of chimpouts these cyberprudes have displayed.

That off my chest, what the big damn deal? It's escapism and celebration of the human body, and if these idiots bothered to think about it for a second, the artists want to draw APPEALING art that doesn't make people disgusted, and if they do it well and represent the human form in an appealing light, more power to them.

If seeing sexy men and women triggers the hell out of you because you have a hangup over things not being perfect, draw your own art and make your own media with butt ugly goblinoids, but let the people who don't share your tastes have their fun, quit trying to fuck it all up because you're a prude with a bizarro interpretation of creativity with a stick up your ass that just can't handle the fact beauty is a compliment to most people, not an insult.

Moving on, Go Make Me a Sandwich deemed the female character designs of Magic: the Gathering to be problematic. Lilliana seems to get most of the criticism about sexuality, and apparently, the art for Akroma's new artwork makes it look like she's going to hump her sword like a pole dancer. Umm, the sword is just on the opposite side compared to the other example, which is not the original artwork for Akroma, by the way. (She had three different artworks for the Wrath version, and two for the Fury "alter-ego".)

Oh her. I bet she's a total cunt to play tabletop RPGs with (which she does). She'd sure hate my gaming group where we constantly make off-color jokes like how rape is not funny unless involves a clown and our Dark Ages characters were surprised when they saw black people for the first time (since they all lived in France their whole lives when the game started).

The part that I don't get about SJWs that take offense to that is when a character is sexualized because it is part of the storyline. In the Akroma examples I brought up, she was created by a wizard (Ixidor) as an image of his late girlfriend who was killed in a pit fight, and sought revenge on the killer (Phage).

They only care if a character is offensive or is sexualized, but never understand why those characters are so.

What is there to understand? People prettier than me remind me of how much I'll never get a boyfriend and how it's all those bitches' fault.

I came across this approved armor on BBAD and when you think about this, this armor is very impractical. The shoulders are about as long as her arms would be stretched open so she wouldn't be able to reach the arms, it looks like its about two sizes two big for her and since she doesn't really have muscles, it would probably be too heavy for her to move in. (Unless there were mechanisms inside the armor.)

The more I look at that armor, the more questions I get. How the hell does her hair and tiara fit under the helmet?

And BBAD says the armor looks more functional. Just because it covers her well doesn't mean it can be any better. One would ask how the helmet can be kept in place or how the horse emblem plate is attached. Also like how they find it sad some toy company makes better armor compared to games and comics, nevermind the latter two have titles that are aimed at more older audiences than little children. As far as I remember, if the armor is well harnessed, than it could be worn properly without too much problems. If anything, the plate armor itself looks more like something for a parade or royal court decoration than battle. Just to note once more, this is something aimed at children, not adults so of course a kids company is going to make sure it's appropriate for children lest they have parents get upset over anything sexual.

Power Armor man.

Y'know something I've noticed in some of these pics? One of their biggest arguments is that the outfits for women are extremely impractical and skimpy while mens outfits are more made for combat. But usually in the same game/show/comic they got that certain outfit from there are just as many outfits for men that are designed to show off their muscles or their bare chest. Actually come to think of it I've never seen them do a redesign of a male character wearing exposing outfits like Conan the barbarian or any of those macho fighter guys from games that wear nothing but a pair of compression pants and a thick layer of pure muscle. It's almost like these artists are just drawing these because they're jealous they don't look like that.

They'd say the male characters like Conan exist as nothing more than some power fantasy. As far as criticizing male armor went, I remember @Yaoi Huntress Earth leaving a link where the BBAD had some fan-art of Alistair of DA being in skimpy armor. One might think it could serve as something refreshing from women in skimpy armor but lo and behold, one commetor said it looks like nothing more than male gaze. Sure it could be male gaze except it would be gay male gaze. Really, in the end with all these complaints of armor, one may as well ask if anyone would even try to make a design that just serves the character in some way, be it making some badass that can maintain the look of prettiness and cleanliness rather than complain and say "this shouldn't exist because real life logic" and other assorted reasons.

It was more "male gaze" in what men think women find attractive than truly appealing to a female audience. So once again, men are being insensitive clods in their opinion.

Heeeeyyyyy... wasn't there a straight cis male cartoonist who depicted what he thought the women would find truly attractive? And SJWs ate it up and it was reblogged incessantly over Tumblr?

O Hai Dave. How's about actually finishing that series, huh?

The artist realizes that not every woman is into Edward Cullen types. Or that all men aren't prissy about these things. The Jojo parody was posted a few pages back.

One thing I just saw was that now some of these ladies think the idea of selling real bikini armor yucky.

I have a friend who got shit from people on Tumblr for her Yoko (I think? The chick from TTGL with the bikini and the gun) cosplay. They also accused her of being in "brownface" when she dressed as Esmerelda just because she has a tan. So no, they have no problem going after real women in costumes. From what I've noticed, they mostly seem to target the skinny, conventionally attractive ones; if you're an overweight, non-white, or trans (optimally all three) you can dress however you like, though, and it's "empowering."

So it's not them poking fun at absurd armor in fiction, it's just a bunch of hideous SJW hobgoblins trying to shame people who don't look like walking pork lard because they are bitter they don't look attractive in sexy clothing.
