Everything this artist draws looks like it reeks. It's amazing. You used to think Smell-o-Vision was some kind of Simpsons level joke, but, no, here it is in reality.
The colostomy bag thing is beyond me. I guess it's a way for an artist to signal how diverse their characters are meant to be?

Looking at their work, it seems like what they produced for character design class is actually more appealing. Their reason for stagnating, like many tumblr style artists, is mostly by choice.

Pretty sure this was done for the shape assignment in character design class, where you have to create characters based on shapes.

So they are in a Character Design class make actual interesting character design and then draw in a tumblr like style and not change anything about the character but the shoes and line art wow I honestly don't know what to say

That class's whole point is to push students out of their comfort zones. You're not allowed to draw in your own art style for the class, actually. Really depressing they didn't take that knowledge with them.

This is what the majority of the students are like. They try to be original with their "NOT ANIME!!!" art style and they all end up drawing the exact same way. It's probably like that in all the other art schools too.
