Loomis can't help most of these people, they don't get the idea of drawing symbols vs form so even when they try to use some sort of construction, it's made up flat bullshit that they ignore anyway.

The Extant japanese twitter is @Manga_Materials but I don't know if it contains the english translations, though in my opinion their guides are good enough that they don't really require any text. I trust most of you are smart enough to figure them out, so definitely would recommend.

I've been testing out the values of the images on this thread and this one came up with a bad result.
I've been colour picking around the areas where it loses detail and it seems the artist has just changed the hue and nothing else. Don't ever just change the hue cos you're not adding any more values to your art. Mess around with the brightness too then your art can look more fab, even in B&W.
On the skirt, the shading now just looks like a random dark squiggle (not that it didn't in the first place), the lighting and normal colour are now the same because the artist chose to change the hue for lighting and not the brightness as well.
The parts of the character are correctly divided in B&W so props for that, just looks flat now.
Quick advice for artists reading, you can add a hue/saturation mask on Photoshop as the top layer and check the vales of your entire image, then make adjustments accordingly so you don't have to bring up the hue/saturation tool to preview the image.
If you use Paint Tool SAI, you can make a folder and put EVERY layer in it. Choose the folder and bring down the saturation to see what it looks like.
If you're using version 2, you can add a grey layer on top and set it to colour mode to check it out in black and white and hide it when you don't need it.
Do tell more. I've looked it up on Twitter but it only comes up with people voicing their disappointment and reposting a couple tutorials.

It’s probably autistic to say, but intersex is a real thing that you crossed out. It doesn’t get much attention because it’s actually a genetic defect where someone’s chromosomes are fucked or something of the sort. They’re not the “perfect futa/shemale/whatever you want to call it” types weebs fap to, it’s more along the lines of deformities and whatnot. I can imagine that it’s tough for someone born that way, given that your genitals are some weird mixture of male and female and your hormones are unbalanced because they’re out of whack from the typical human’s. I can also imagine it gets difficult because most people are male or female and people with said defect are somewhere literally in between. They used to be called hermaphrodites, but they changed the term because they can’t really reproduce and any semblance to having both sets isn’t functioning.
That said, I doubt that most of the people celebrating pride and the people pandering to them actually know that. I wouldn’t classify them under the “nonbinary” flag though, because they’re not seeking attention, they’re just born with fucked up genetics (don’t take that the wrong way). It’s a medical condition.

this is all true but any artist can tell you it's a dead giveaway that someone is unconfident and can't control a pencil properly, which is as basic as it sounds, and I gaurentee you even someone who knows nothing about art, even if they can't always verbalize it they will always choose controlled, confident lines over chicken scratch.

The thing is Intersex is not LGBT, it is just a medical defect like you said. That doesn't fall within transgender or anything.
I am certain there could be and are LGBT phobic intersex men and women, because having this deformity doesn't make them inherently a lesbian, a gay man, a bisexual, or a trans man/woman.
And "non binary" is trash that little girls on tumblr made up to be special, That is gaining popularity because half-wits like Rebecca Sugar put out this false information that can be viewed by many (disgustingly this cow has hers aimed at children) to push their agenda of "Non binary is valid! You don't need to be a man or a woman!".
There is no "non binary" dysphoria, it hasn't been backed up by science in any sort of way yet, it really is just the new "I'm not like other girls."

Literally all but one person that I’ve met calling themselves non-binary are insufferable cunts. It’s just a way a bunch of suburbanites found to be different so they could feel special. It’s one of those fake rebellion things for confused teenagers and adults who never grew up.
