Oh, I agree that everything else fine. But the pansy aesthetic doesn't work at all when you're drawing DOOM.

Honestly, just make the boobs a single curve/bulge in the armor instead of sculpting them out separately and you have

1. Solved the supposed sternum damage
2. Still left room in your armor for tits
3. Avoided a spear trap in the middle of your chest where blows would naturally deflect into and then get caught in the valley between the tit bulges, letting someone with a spear easily push you or puncture your armor there.

Boobplate is pretty dumb when you think about it, for the same reason armor sculpted to look like muscles on men are dumb. It's unnecessary and adds complexity and valleys into your armor which are point-traps for spears and other poky bits, which you never want.

The point I was getting at with that shit is that it isn't anywhere near as dangrous as captain stupid was making it out to be.

It also doesn't help that this is all applied to fictional works that can piss in the face of reality via flying lizards with flaming breath, games where being more trained in leather armor grants higher defense than iron armor, and mutant people who wouldn't really need armor when fighting against generic thugs whose guns are as deadly as milk duds.

Context is something that applies to many things but to some, they want to think otherwise even if boobplate actually fits in something like D&D Dark Sun (setting makes Mad Max looks like a hippy paradise in comparison) or in a world where magic gives real world logic the middle finger.

Yeah, but it's still kind of hard to look at (at least for me). I don't know if my mind can process hipster Tuxedo Mask (or, in this case, Cuxedo Mask) or a Luna, Artemis, and Diana who look like Ren from The Ren and Stimpy Show or Sailor Moon herself with a W.C. Fields nose and what I can assume are the jagged, poorly-cared for teeth of an American redneck, or Sailors Jupiter and Saturn with man faces [yes, I know Sailor Jupiter/Makoto/Lita is supposed to have the fighting spirit of a man, but having the face to match is just pushing it. Saturn, on the other hand, brings to mind a Mexican transvestite hooker] or Sailor Mercury looking like a tragic victim of SARS and domestic violence in one fell swoop.

That being said, Sailors Uranus and Neptune look all right. Sailor Saturn has a Winona Ryder back when she played disturbed Goth girls look to her, which is also pretty decent. Sailor Mars' look and appearance wouldn't be out of place on a biker tattoo with the words "Badass Bitch" or some pun (off-color or not) about fire at the bottom. Sailor Chibi Moon and Sailor Venus remind me too much of what Tumblr artists do to characters, so there's really not much to love there. Have I covered everyone?
