I'm CONFUSED

Why would an SJW be interested in giving their characters Ren and Stimpy tattoos? Wouldn't some modern Cal Arts style type show be more appropriate?

Because it's their style which would be nowhere near close to the original designs outside of just saying they are the Tallest from Invader Zim. As someone said, these are just more of OC's than existing characters.

Thing is, they were drawing "speciesswap" pics and Zim still looked like Zim as a human (I think I posed an image somewhere in here) and GIR was even recognizable...I have no idea where they went so wrong with these two in particular.

...I have seen some unrecognizable depictions before, but good fucking god.

I'm kinda impressed because usually they at least have a color or one detail in common with the characters they draw, but there's absolutely nothing in common between the designs here.

She looks visibly uncomfortable being around John, especially when he has her hands on her), as I also believe her relationship (such as it was) with John influenced a character in her "Skadi" comic. But since Katie never made a huge to-do about it for reasons that are her own, John's never gotten on the Tumblr SJW problematic shitlist. I heard she was pretty young when she got involved with John and Spumco, which kind of adds an extra layer of "yechhh" to the whole thing.

Eh, my source on the Skadi thing was /co/, so I'm probably totally wrong on that one.

And yeah, even if there wasn't any alleged sexual harassment on his part, John K has done a pretty effective job of torpedoing his own reputation in the industry for a variety of reasons. And there's his Kickstarter scam for 'Cans With Labels'.

Wow, I thought this was TF2 fan art but surely enough, it's tagged Zim. That's a really far cry from what they were 'supposed' to be.

I haven't followed John K's blog in years, but has he said anything about Steven Universe at all? If he hasn't already, I'd be curious to see how badly he'd stir up the hornet's nest, given SU fans are as hypersensitive as Bronies are when it comes to even the slightest criticism towards their show.

I can understand (even if I don't necessarily agree with) their position on Mercy, but complaining about a brown-skinned individual being white-washed when to get that complexion you'd need literal whitewash is all kinds of amusing.

While there is the point of the event being used to get money since they could sell halloween related skins and such, complaints of Farah being white are still stupid since the "whiteness" she has is mean't to make her look like a corpse.
