You know, this only solidifies my belief and opinion that if you're THAT dissatisfied with a series or whatever, go create your own material instead of trying to piggyback and bastardize something for a personal agenda. The change in media that these people oh so desperately want isn't going to happen through redrawing these types of characters into... those things.

But nah, too much work and too much effort for these idiots. They could very well be the change they want to see, but they're too lazy and ignorant to realize it. What a waste.

I can't figure out how the eye works in the bottom image. Are they squinting? Do they have a third eyelid? There seem to be more lines+eyelashes than makes any sense.

Sad part is that the first two aren't even terrible, and if I was feeling particularly generous (I'm not) I'd even say it's not half bad. If the their image is the "after" I'd certainly say that this person is taking backwards steps and that she shouldn't really be proud of that.

But this person IS going to an excellent school so I mean hopefully they'll get the help they need, quit tumblr, and make strides ok improving their art.
