Of course not. If they were, they wouldn't be SJWs now, would they?At least for me, she doesn't come off as pandering, but of course, sjws always find a reason to complain. From what i've seen online some people are mad because Squirrel Girl isn't fat and Sunspot isn't black. These people are never happy with anything.
Given what I've seen of the series (which is to say, all of it), I take it she only watched the hour long premiere and maybe the following two episodes after that. Because from what I've seen, the females do get a decent amount of development (especially remarkable given they have to cram it in eleven episodes). Not a whole lot, mind (again, only 11 episodes to work with), but enough to work with. They've also changed Sven into Shiro. I've been reading some reviews and they've been positive. Though one reviewer did point out that she wasn't too happy about certain aspects about the female characters.
Trust me, it's actually pretty enjoyable, albeit a little rushed in pacing at times.I wanted to see this series, but now I'm unsure. How Netflix use statistics of what (majority, not all!) and how people are watching it is scary and I don't know what too feel about that kind of storytelling. It's not creative writing at all. And also racebending characters. I'm not familiar wit orginal Voltron, so I didn't know that they wew changed. But maybe it's a bit of paranoia from reading too much of that thread that every racebend makes me think about SJWs.
And fanarts don't help.

As for the fanart posted above, I'd forgive the nose thing if those faces didn't look unfitting altogether. And that's before getting into the outfits the two are wearing (especially Keith's).
