These "artists" would have me believe women should cover every bit of skin and show nothing at all, this reminds me of something, but I can't quite put my finger on it... something very anti-feminist... huh.

And make sure she's got baggy clothes or several layers on. That's the weird thing about a chunk of modern feminist logic. They'll go on slut walks, yell at dress codes and sing praises of the Anaconda music video. Then turn around and do what you mentioned.

Hell, according to BBAD, even the fact that Mei's pants are a little too slim is a bit of a problem. The whole site is growing lolzier by the day. To the point they're becoming a bit pro-censorship.
 
The reason that pretty people are always uglified, is because SJW live with the mentallity that there needs to be "new beauty standards" aka whatever the fuck hasn't been beauty standard so far(or probably anything that is close to what they are themselves). Also, they think that the only way to get equality, is to pull others down on their level. So instead of trying to get people who are ugly by default a better chance of being accepted, they would rather uglify a pretty person instead, to pull them down to their level.

Definitely. I remember a few pages back, someone posted fanart they did of the emotions from inside out where anger, fear, and sadness were completely untouched, but joy and disgust were changed into these oddly-proportioned little mongoloids. It all basically sums up to them sitting there violently drawing cute characters as hideous blobs screaming "YOU'RE NOT PRETTIER THAN ME" with tears rolling down their eyes.

Some of the notes in response may as well be gold. One Tumblr mentions that the game has characters whose appearance is dress to impress, not functionality while another says BBAD seems to of forgotten that this is just a video game. With how BBAD is growing lolzier, they may as well count anything not meeting their standards as sexist despite reasons such as being a fictional game where not everything is realistic.
 
My favorite argument of theirs (correct me if it's someone else who says this) to hate is "B-but female characters never TRULY dress for themselves, their straight male writers just MAKE them that way!"

By that logic, female characters never truly kick ass, the straight male writers only made them do it!

Because showing black women with straight hair is racist and whitewashing apparently, they do advocate for black women to stop straightening their hair on some level

I could accept Daphne as a black lady, if she was at least fashionable, because she was the "pretty girl" of the group. And Shaggy should look way more lanky... I mean, sheesh, these characters had, even though really bland, their personallity traits set.
It seems that they only really kept Velma the same. Probs because she was the "chubby nerd" and that is all tumblr wants to see.

The Scooby Doo characters were literally ripped off from a '50s sitcom, which is about as whitebread as you can get:

Also, It's ridiculous how they are fighting every thing considered "traditional" or "evil social construct" without thinking that what they do is also "social construct" of SJW tumblr society and they just want to replace social standards constructed for many years with their vision. Teenagers already pretend to be transtrenders on tumblr because they are scared they would be excluded from this community - isn't that what they pretend to fight? "Society can't tell you what to to" but tumblr command what you have to do to not be stupid racist sexis whatever bigot.
I'm not saying everything estabilished in society is right, but fighting everything just to fight is very stupid.

It used to be a funny, silly little site making fun of ridiculous designs before it turned into some grim, humorless, everything is shit SJW fest.

I think Quiet was the one that helped complete the transformation. There were some signs early on, but she unintentionally set it off.

This is an old-ish comment but it made me think. I braved the autism of derpibooru to see how many pictures were tagged with "hijab" compared to "bindi". Bindi currently has around 47, while "hijab" is at 209.

The "overly diverse" art tends to get downvoted to oblivion, like these gems (surprise, sources are all tumblrs):

Saw this comic on Tumblr, thought I might post it in the thread. The art style has a bit of that Tumblr ugliness going on, particular in the central black character, but I'm more interested in what our black Kiwis make of the message of it.

To me, it feels full of this bitterness and resentment that I feel could be avoided with this guys "friends" if he just talks to them about it like a rational adult. I find a lot of interpersonal problems can be solved just with open, earnest discussion, instead of just bottling up these feelings and blaming others when they remain clueless as to why you're pissed off. How can you possibly know that they'll turn on you like you're afraid they will until you speak up? Isn't that what activism is? Promoting genuine understanding with words?

Then again, this is not the full comic, so perhaps things turn out differently in the full version.
