It's only nominally related to the art involved, but does anyone have a clear idea as to why Aaron Diaz has got the horn for claiming his characters are 'in a pickle' when shit's going wrong for them? I get that he fancies himself as some kind of idealised English gentleman (which as an Englishman is just embarrassing as fuck to behold), but as turns of phrase go, it's dripping with pure cringe.

At least with one of his characters, its probably because he wants his pickle in them.

Even cats hate SJWs.

It's said that cats can tell instinctively what kind of person you really are... Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

I don't see what the heck's wrong with that phrase. Like, I've heard "in a pickle" used for bad situations for years and I don't see why it's so cringeworthy.

Not just the cheeks, but those eyes. Are we sure they aren't some kind of undocumented needle species? Or cat people?

A dose of Harry Potter related cringe

That black girl (that supposed to be Hermione?)... Are we sure these artists aren't closet racists?

Most people wouldn't mind a black Hermione if they didn't draw her so weird looking...and isn't she supposed to be a red head? You don't really have to read the books to know that, do you?

Red hair would even be consistent with mixed race, but no, they have to come up with the most retarded, shitty headcanons an autist ever auted.

If it weren't for the school uniforms, I would've said: "He drew Dr. Phil wrong. Wait, those aren't Oprah and Chopra? Goddammit, people! Learn to draw!"

Idk about you "Harry Potter" is the most Indian name I can think of.
Hari is an Indian name, and Puttar can be a last name. I googled "Hari Puttar" for a tumblr post that suggests Harry Potter is Indian, but the only result is an Indian film called Hari Puttar.

"In a pickle" is phrase meaning in trouble that I've heard a few times.
Edit: I just looked at the drawing, and it's a little funky looking.

I had to tilt my monitor to even remotely make out Black Hermoine's (WE WUZ WIZARDS N SHEEIT) facial features.
Trust me, I had a hard time trying to figure out what the shape of her eyes were supposed to be too. But it's the hands that get to me. They just look so stereotypical 1940s cartoon.

I think her description offends me more than the artwork itself

Also there was no love triangle in Harry Potter. The fuck is this person talking about?

Hermione had brown hair, iirc.

I'm well aware of the meaning and use of it, it's the implied affectation that bothers me: It's not a term that I've encountered being used by anyone under the age of sixty, and Diaz' implicit avuncular tone is more than a little awkward to read, especially given his apparent love of the phrase - there is a pretty strong recurrence in its use. Just struck me as a bit of a cringe-y habit.

So a buddy of mine linked me to this picture on tumblr. Her back is fucking broken. Not really SJW art but I feel the terrible anatomy belongs here.

That's what I call an Escher Girl. It's where the female is attractive and is put into weird, "sexy" poses like "twisty spine and boobs-and-butt.

Someone sent the artist and ask on Tumblr asking why her spine was broken. People started flocking to her inbox saying 'h8ers gonna h8 lol'.

I swear, people can't take constructive criticism nowadays because MUH EGOS.
