CalArts has become one of those 'schools' where you don't get proper critique, everyone's 'style' is A-OK and a lot of woke stuff is pushed hard. Hence the coining of the term 'CalArts Style' when talking about bean-mouth cartoons with lazy anatomy etc, since most of the gradutes from that place have been infesting western animation for a while now.

As someone else pointed out, CalArts - and art schools in that neck of the woods in general - don't really focus on criticism. She also paid more attention and time to representing IRL fags in youth clubs and LGBTWTFBBQ groups.

Literally, none of these characters are trans nor do they care about sexuality. And they yet again pass over the actual trans people in the show. Really showing their biases here. It's disgusting. I hate how they portray black people as this oh-so-special race. We're all the same fucking species.
