Usopp was meant to be an African nigga. Robin wasn't. However, many idiot fans want her to be a straight-haired Shaniqua because of pre-timeskip Robin's skin tone (which was Toei Animation's mistake). Luckily, most of the fandom I have observed doesn't give a huge shit about Robin and Usopp and just laugh about how Elbaf Arc, the current arc, felt like Usopp's arc first then suddenly Usopp is just using his retarded plants as usual.

I usually let dark Robin slide on the grounds she gets a lot of sun and probably suns a lot more compared to Nami, but that's good to know re:fandom rn.

I usually look over people making sexuality headcanons with characters but is it me or are people scrapping to the bottom of the barrel to prove a character is gay to the point where liking a certain activity (and ignoring the fact that said activity is popular with women in general) makes you queer coded? Example, this user is claiming the character Red from South Park is a lesbian because.....she likes ice skating? I don't know how popular ice skating is with "queer" women but even if it is, do these people think that no straight woman loves ice skating? Its not a LGBTQ exclusive activity that only they like. Sorry for rant, but what is with these people and turning every activity into this "queer coded" thing? Do these people think straight and non trans people have no activities they like doing? Again, for all this talk about how "Cis straight people wont ever understand queer and trans people" these people don't seem to understand straight and non trans people.

You see, the problem is first believing these people ever cared for straight people in the first place. These are the same people who think going on experimental hormones is life changing gender affirming care so the barely-holding-on genderspecial can delude to themselves and the world they're truly a scientist's gift to the bank. These are the same people who unironically say "hetslop" because how dare you draw straight people and not what quirky scenario two "gay disasters" are in for the 14,000,000th time.
