i kinda understand being shamed for her likes, but of course you don't just show your fanart at all on your portfolio lmfao. what they're looking for in art schools is original work. it's not even about the gay shit or anime shit here, they're just being careful with copyright as fan art's not something you would show to an employer, regardless of subject matter. some art schools are 100% fine with anime-style art as long as you have other styles of art as well.

Agree with everything, but girls who like yaoi are generally cis and straight (almost every fujioshi I knew in the past are happily marry and have kids), but cis straight people are not quirky and interesting fo those people, not saying that in their ideology white cis straight people are the scum of the earth. Hence, non existent genders like gender fluid was invented.

ehh, it's anecdotal i think. fujo communities i've been in however are about evenly split between lesbo, bi, and straight. it's a very broad term, any woman can like gay shit without being attracted to a specific side. and yeah, i myself am a bi fujo, so it kinda checks out
i only said that because it seemed she was accepting of being gay at first, but really didn't accept herself as a woman because tumblr community said gay fiction is bad, you have to be a tranny to be able to fetishize "mlm", and that it was okay to not feel female or whatever. imagine how much of a lowlife you are to feel dysphoria from seeing another sjw art rofl

Yeah, some of the older sculptures had 'curvy' models, but they also saw excessive body hair, stretchmarks and other blemishes as bad. Hence the use of perfectly white, smooth marble as a base. Also, thats the saddest looking dick I've ever seen.

Just from their style alone I could tell you they were the unpopular kid at their school. If you go to a school that's suppose to not only teach you fundmentals and to improve your skill set with nothing more than fanart and gay anime porn as your portfolio not only are the teachers going to be disgusted at you but your peers are going to laugh at you. I get the sense that Jey has few IRL friends and just focuses on their gay headcanons and fujo porn comics and call that their social life.

People in ancient times worshipped curves like mine!" Your brain is actually rotting. Close twitter and go outside, holy shit. I'm starting to genuinely believe some of these people have the reverse of body dysmorphia: they can't see their own bodies as anything but perfectly healthy and sexy.

If anyone here is actually new to OJST I highly recommend using their archive feature for a deep dive. Some comics are actually of quality, but it’s incredibly rare and the art, while varied, is usually hit or miss. It’s original intent was to be a review and sexual wellness comic, but Erika has drawn less and less as time goes on (probably due to her Bipolar slumps, which I won’t fault her for), so instead we just get straight up porn. But being the SWJ that she is the amount of ‘inclusion’ that we see is near comical. Take this comic (Toys and Lace) for example, the fat Mexican looking women is outwardly presenting female, I assumed she was just hairy because you know, Mexican. But at the end of the panel we see top surgery scars...?
Erika herself occasionally creates well thought out panels (Love is Not Enough) that can be pretty solid, but others where she talks about issues like cuckolding and in clinic abortion are done with a literal rose tint skimming over the potential severe emotional consequences that some individuals face. Your political views, regardless of what they are, and your emotional bias (see attached comic ‘Late’) shouldn’t get in the way of honesty about issues that could potentially harm vulnerable individuals. In other words lot of the content seems painfully biased, which is why I find it concerning that she, like many of her ilk, target teens wither her books that recycle OJST panels.

This is probably the least horrifying thing going on in this thread right now, but the artist's inability to keep the character on model in two panels that are RIGHT next to each other is sending me
and yes I know the style switch from the simplified dot eyes style to "realism" (ironic air quotes) was intentional, but an artist at this level (I think this comic is her living?) should be able to switch styles without making her character look like a totally different person
