I know someone who has stretch marks on his back cause of crazy growth spurts as a kid so it's not totally wrong to assume that the sudden growth caused by the superman serum could've done that.

Buuuut it still screams fetish to me.

I'm not sure how, but her art is actually getting worse. Wtf.

The worst thing about all these trans fetishisi... Er, headcanon art is that I know for a lot of legit transpeople coming across that shit would be dysphoria central. Most trans dudes don't want to be reminded about having tits, and most trans women don't want to be reminded of having facial hair and dicks (as these are things they desperately want to get rid of). But of course, since they aren't tumblr genderspecial troon types they can kill themselves for all tumblr is concerned.

It's part of some weird body positivity that borders on ugly fetishism. That's why they draw porn of people with nasty body hair, or stretch marks, fat rolls, etc.

You can embrace your ugly, sure, but there's a point where you're just encouraging grossness for the sake of asspats and these artists have definitely crossed it.

Tumblr, fetishize weird and creepy shit? N'awwwwwwwww. But, really why of all things to get off to, why stretch marks? I understand being ok with yourself but stretch marks are something that, if I'm not mistaken, are: a.) Not a big deal, and b.) are relatively easy to take care of.

As I said before, ugly can have an appeal and physical flaws can be rocked (Frida Kahlo proved that). It would be another thing is they were doing it in a fun, humorous way. It's just sad how much these artists hate beauty as a whole.

I think part of it has to do with rebelling against the ideal of hiding or fixing stretch marks. So they're rebelling against beauty standards of something.
 
You ever think that these people just draw/headcanon the characters these ways because they themselves are ugly, or virgin losers, or unhappy with their bodies/very insecure with their sexuality, so that's why there's so much "gay fat lesbian asexual trans black woman captain america" art around?

It's like pretty artists don't exist anymore.

That would be an interesting thing to see if there is a connection. Olivia de Berardinis still looks nice after all these years (she's a famous pin-up artist).

It's essentially the age-old saying "it's not what you have, it's how you use it" Unfortunately, good advice is often ignored by these people, also yes Frida was definitely proof of working with what she was given, but there's one major difference. Ms. Kahlo could be fucked to do something with herself it seems, and if there's one thing that'll damn someone (especially people like this) it's a lack of initiative/effort to do something.

It could of been worse such as giving her a red nose or try-hard punk sounding clothes that say "Die CIS-SCUM". Now if the artist typed in a passive-aggressive manner or said it's an attempt to rile people up or claim that design is better than the official design of Peach, that's a whole different story.
