its a kinda of spoiler for show. but the green paladin of Voltron Pidge is a girl who dressed as boy to find her missing father and brother.but everyone expect lance already knew that she was a girl. my guess is they are cling to the misunderstanding that she is transgender. even though the reason for her dress up was made pretty clearly stated in the show. but you these guys will lustfully grasp anything vaguely of the wants. Also the New Voltron is pretty neat-o if you ask me.

From my experience, any fictional female character that doesn't dress in a way that can be easily identified as girl will automatically be "headcanon-ed" as transgender by tumblr/SJW regardless if they've been canonically proven to not be. For example, Nintendo already confirmed that Sheik is just Zelda disguised as a ninja guy to not get captured by Ganondorf but people refuse to accept it.

I've seen people claim that Joseph Joestar is a trans-woman/genderfluid because he disguised himself as a woman once. Badly.
There was also an Evatard who wrote an incredibly long, extensive essay on how Shinji Ikari is DEFINITELY a canon trans-girl, referencing such solid pieces of evidence such as him doing domestic chores or some shit like that. I don't even remember anymore. If I could find it, I'd probably post it here.

The Hindu Sailor Moon works, I think, because it looks inspired. They took the elements of Sailor Moon and made them look natural in an Indian context. It doesn't seem to be a case of someone just shoehorning an arbitrary ethnicity into a character for the sake of remaking the world into a social justice theme park.

Plus whoever drew it has some talent and seems to have some awareness of Hindu/indian subcontinent aesthetic.
When I think on it I could see how Indian aesthetic could mesh really well with Manga where the vibrancy and larger than life style could bounce off each other very well.

Hindu Sailor Moon is good as a desing, because it's entry for this months Character Design Challenge. Artists from that group are in 90% professinals working in industry or art students. I also made a picture (and make all my friends vote for Sailor Moon as a next topic last month ). Also, most of contributors are from Europe (more than half are French) or South America, so less familiar with all SJW stuff. I also don't think any serious artist would submit tumblr tucute to this group unironically.
If I remember correctly, author of that hindu redesign was actually from India.

Well, they did change Allura's look to dark skinned and Elf-eared (she kinda looks like a Tenchi Muyo character now) and gave Hunk and Lance race changes.

Given how SJWs act and how they effect the media, it makes one feel cynical or unsure towards diversity. Since you know the goal post will always be pulled further, you don't know if this will make them happy or if the changes are out of free will (which is good) or its forced. Also how the SJWs hate white people (especially the men), doesn't help.

There are people on Tumblr claiming the actual Mulan, not just the Disney character, was trans. I remember a Chinese woman chewed them out and talked about how important the legend of Mulan was to her and how making her trans was missing the point.
