you're missing the part where a huge chunk of these artists are white girls. Often affluent, too.
It's guilty people who don't actually know anything about other races, or cultures, or lower classes, trying to seem relatable and benevolent.

I have NO clue what the pride flag next to Fluttershy (the orange-white-blue) is, does anyone know it? Also a "trans horse" is a pretty wild concept...

When/How did the "Danny Phantom is trans" headcannons start? It's a popular headcannon and I have no clue why... Is it because Danny transforms or is it because Butch Hartman said something?

Late but thought I'd throw in why.
The Danny is trans headcannon came about from a few things in the show. There's an episode with Deserie (A genie) who's about to touch Danny's chest saying "I can grant what you desire most." to which he flips out and tells her not to touch him. There's also the mention from Pauline (The popular girl and Danny's unrequited crush) that she doesn't know if Danny should be in the girls or boys room. Dash (His Bully) referring to Danny as a girl in various episodes. Danny wearing a shirt and trunks at the beach in one episode and seemingly being insecure about his body that way. The biggest one is a clone character of him, Dani. Dani is the most stable of clones to be made be Vlad Plasmius, however she's a girl and if she uses her power too much risks turning into ectoplasma. The fact Dani is the most stable version and she is directly made from Danny, Tumblrinas latch onto the idea that Danny is trans because of her.
The fact Hartman is a very Christan man and not extremely welcoming to the idea of homosexual or transexual characters, Tumblr reinforces that Danny is trans to spite him in some sort of way. The head cannon is mainly around to just make Tumblr feel validated and to piss off the guy who made him.

I mean, Butch Hartman made mpreg canon in one of his own shows, compared to that I think a kinda dumb trans headcanon is a lot milder. At least the "Danny is trans" thing isn't completely made up out of thin air like most trans headcanons I see here.

The show only had three seasons (Mainly because they blew a lot of money on having very well known voices in the show. Luke Skywalker played a ghost chicken ffs) and Butch was directly involved in writing the last one. The third season is universally considered the worst one due to how badly Butch fucks with his own lore (Ghosts aren't ghost anymore but aliens even though some ghosts were actual living people), screws up characters, and just bringing the writing down. Dani was his idea and it made no sense for her to be in the show.
Butch is a kind of cow in his own right with how he keeps going back to Danny Phantom because so many now adults loved that show of his over TUFF Puppy or Fairy Oddparents. He constantly rewrites stuff for it in his youtube videos or would do like 10 years later with them.

To me early Oddparents are his best work. Sure the show has gone trough seasonal rot to a point of being most suited for flower bed filling but it got there only because the early seasons are just that good. There just this wonderful surreal logic and intresting character dynamics going on that none of his other works ever captured, not even close. I don't think Butch is really that suited for action shows. He isn't awful but action shows really need solid continuity and consequences to have real weight and that just isn't his strong suit.
This inspired me cheack what SJW fanart there is about FOP. I didn't come across that much and what was there is pretty tame. I found this bit odd because there a lot of all sort wierd fanart and porn of this show. Plus FOP has tons of homosexual innuendo and scenes like this (taking place in Miss Dimmsdale competition where Adam West fell in love with Timmy's dad who won the competition):
