I think Keira needs to personally apologize to Shrek Zara ASAP!

You don't owe your actual parents infinite kindness and quiet on any view of theirs that you disagree with though, it's a stupid standard to hold and one that you would absolutely discard if they were on opposite sides of the issue.
You actually do owe the people who have done you a massive service some degree of respect though. At a minimum, you stab them in the front. Emma snaked her while she was having troons show up to her house then groveled out and apologized in private and she did it for free, for men in skirts.

If Ethan Ralph was beefing with my father, I might tell the old man to let it go and wash my hands of it. I might go on the kill stream and talk about the time he beat the shit out of me and never talk to him again. But I’m not going to cheer on Ralph showing up at his house then expect to be invited to the next thanksgiving at his place.

And if my father went off about how I did so, he’d be completely justified. You don’t owe someone infinite kindness and quiet just because you made their life and then they backstabbed you for the troons.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know why the new series isn't using British actors? I thought that that was one thing Rowling insisted on for the original films.
Because Britain was like 99% British and now it’s about 70% British, which would make casting for the Britain she remembers an awfully hot coffee pot.

You... actually believe that? You believe Britain was 99% white (I assume that is what you mean) in 2001 and 70% now???

Well it’s not quite 99% but when you count some of the mixes (which includes people like Sargon btw) it’s like 95%. Most of that 5% is going to be recent imports who aren’t child actors so in terms of candidates yeah, I’d say 99%.

My point is that Rowling was carefully selecting for the ye old British boarding school vibe in the socially acceptable manner of the time. That’s not really possible anymore.

Yeah, that's completely wrong. It was 92% white in 2001.

By the 2021 census, the UK native population was 74%. A minimum of 2.5 million people have entered the country since then and a lot of migrant children have been born. It is expected that white British will be a minority (under 50%) by the middle of the century. Likely earlier, given how immigration and immigrant birth estimates are very conservative.

aha, cougared...

By the way, I love how "we all have to learn to live together" is now offensive to say. That's a very sane and mature thing to say.

Nah, the sane thing is to institutionalize the insane so that we don't have to live with the trannies.
I hate to sound like a bleeding-heart liberal, but it's not very fair to the sane people if we just hole up in our cozy nut house and turn our backs on them like "I got mine, figure the tranny problem out yourself".

Maybe I technically don't, but I love and respect my parents despite the various differing issues we have on many subjects. Some of which hurt to see more than others. But I keep our peace and refrain from talking about what we disagree with and frankly I'll be damned if any of my cousins or friends or some stranger say something rude about them to me or threaten them over their views. Caring more about what you dislike and hate than what and who you love is a sad existence.

I kind of think a mental institution should be more reserved for like, people with severe mental disorders like Schizophrenia than trannies that freak out in public.

I agree. We shouldn't torture the poor schizophrenics by making them share a hospital room with the likes of Charles Clymer. It'll probably make their symptoms even worse if they have to attend group therapy sessions with the physical embodiment of their sleep paralysis demon.

One freakout is kind of entertaining, Bipolar and Schizophrenic freakouts are way more scary to me, tbh.

From Prick Pink News:
Laser clinic offers special deal on Harry Potter tattoo removals: ‘Trans rights are human rights’

Rowling first faced criticism for her views in 2019 when she voiced her support for “gender-critical” campaigner Maya Forstater.
Celebrities who continue to profit from the brand – most recently actress Keira Knightley – have also faced criticism for not calling out, or standing against the author, who also writes crime stories under the pen name Robert Galbraith.
Now, Manchester Laser NQ, based inside tattoo parlour The Old Volt on Swan Street, has taken to Instagram to announce the promotion, saying the wizarding franchise had been “ruined” for many fans.

“Around 16 per cent of people regret getting a tattoo, less than one per cent of people regret gender-affirming surgery, and 100 per cent of queer people regret their Harry Potter tattoos (last stat not fact-checked),” the post said.
“So, I will be offering 50 per cent off removal of any Harry-Potter-themed tattoos, for anyone. Trans rights are human rights.”
In an interview with Attitude, manager El said: “Like many queer people, I loved Harry Potter when I was younger and it only lost its magic because of the woman who wrote it.
“I know there are a lot of people walking around with HP tattoos that they no longer want, or even feel ashamed of, and I wanted to make it a bit easier to get them removed.”
In May, guide and Edinburgh Street Historians founder Fraser Horn told PinkNews that a decision to drop Harry-Potter-related tours in the capital was “not an easy one to make, but was necessary”.

tl;dr: "Dawgs, would you like some unecessary surgery on top of your unnecessary surgery?"
