Alright, the point was to share the Rowling Deranged Individual's post, and I don't want to derail the thread, so I won't bother responding to any further nuh-uh comments, but let's not get deranged ourselves (or "enslaved" per the parlance of the anti-thread of the thread of which this one is derivative).

That is true. Flood lights, also. But the anatomical differences aren't explained by these.
 
I just realized that Disney could make their own Harry Potter equivalent by creating a story about Merlin teaching several students in magic and one of them is special because [insert reason] and then fantasy stuff happens.

Sorry, my bad, I do not have an account there either or had to sign up, maybe Brave or my VPN blocked their block. Unfortunately there is a limit to how much Brave wanted to capture at once and I don't have another screenshot plugin atm, so I just sorted them once by oldest and once by newest.

I need some real cosmetic surgery autists in here, because this may just be the result of losing weight, makeup, lighting, and getting older. If she has had work it’s top quality, natch.
Frankly, I don’t care if an exceptionally wealthy woman old enough to be a grandma had some very tasteful, subtle cosmetic surgery.

She's definitely had work done, but I suspect most of it is non-surgical. I'm not up to date on all the beautifying treatments rich people can afford, but I highly doubt she's gone and had a Turkish surgeon poke holes in her skull. And that's just the facial surgeries. There's also the whole rest of the SRS thread, none of which Jo would be fool enough to do to herself. I'm not sure why the "we need you, the taxpayer, to pay for our endless cosmetic surgeries and revisions or we'll kill ourselves and it'll be your fault" gang wants to play this game.

Edit: Actually, I am sure why. It's jealousy.

The "new JKR" already was the Twilight writer. Then the Hunger Games one. And Divergent. And so on.

They were important phenomenons, but nothing compared to the crazy that was HP. Not even the MCU has done so in a way that became people's identities.

Harry Potter was lightning in a bottle. It came out when the internet was new, and being able to talk to people around the  world about anything was amazing and wondrous.

JKR managed to write a series that had people of all ages wanting to know why Harry was The Boy Who Lived. The internet is too big and too scattershot for that kind of water-cooler discussion on a worldwide scale. More importantly, it can't be manufactured by a corporation. it happens naturally or not at all.

Do you think the purchase of Marvel, Lucasfilm and Fox was mere coincidence? Disney doesn't know what to do with their already established IPs.

I was going to say the skibidi verse seemed to be catching on for a while, but unfortunately the zoomers and Gen Alpha don't have the same fandom ferver as earlier generations. Very sad, we will never get a skibidi toilet land.

On the one hand, yes, I'm glad such an abomination won't exist. But the fact that they are making a movie about it makes me want to see what the marketing robots in Disney would try to do with it. Cats was awful, but it was the special kind of awful, just watching millions of dollars burn in front of you. Skibidi land would be Cats, the themepark.

There is a delusion that trans ideologists like to run their mouths about: that everything someone (cis) does to improve their appearance is 'gender affirming'.

Rowling could have had all the plastic surgery in the world, and it would not make a bit of difference to her arguments and it would not make her a hypocrite. She could specifically have said to the surgeon "I want to look more feminine, make my face more feminine" and she still would not be a hypocrite. Because Rowling never once said "trans people should not be able to have cosmetic surgery".

And even if she had said that, it would still not be hypocrisy, because Rowling isn't having surgery to look like the sex she is not.

I honestly can't believe that trans ideologists have two neurons to rub together.

They argue it's the same thing because, according to them, all the cosmetic surgeries they get are just to bring their appearance more in line with society's narrow, bigoted definition of what a female is. It's not that their bodies are male, it's that society forces them into the "male" box for simply having a penis and testicles. According to them, they are already biological women, always have been, and even intact males are biological women if they identify as such. Therefore, them wanting dick inversion surgery is the same as a woman with PCOS wanting laser hair removal.
