College degrees haven't meant anything for a very long time.

That's coming from a guy with 2 bachelor's and a masters

I was in an MOS and unit that got co-ed integrated beyond the females in HQ Platoon (which couldn't be deployed with the unit because female).

It fucking destroyed it.

We had exactly 3 female soldiers worth a shit, and they spent 2-4 hours 5 days a week pumping iron and they still couldn't hack it.

For every female soldier that will man the line or run into fire to drag back a wounded guy they can't (90% of the time) can't lift, you'll find 30 female soldiers back at the Log Base yakking or hiding under the tool box.

I've never seen a female pilot fight plan a cross country or do a proper weight and balance manage get all the numbers correct in the first two tries without a spread sheet.

A friend of mine almost lost a jet over the Pakistan-Afghan border because his new flight lead planned the mission with the wrong spread sheet.

Luckily he checked her math by hand using his E6B slide rule and a sectional in the cockpit before launch and immediately bypassed her and got word to his CO over comms. They made them wait on the tarmac and stand by as the squadron CO himself changed the mission plan.

She got transferred out of the cockpit promoted to O4 after

I'll be blunt - what about sex? The presence of healthy females into a group of males in excellent (but probably frequently exhausted) physical condition. How does this work out? Are there rules restricting this? Are the rules obeyed? Is it good for morale, bad for morale, leads to trouble? There's going to be few women for every man does that lead to tension? Or does everyone just mentally compartmentalize and not go there? Do wives of soldiers on active duty dislike that there are women living and closely involved with their husbands? I'm not asking for prurient details, just very curious what the addition of women does to morale and combat effectiveness beyond the more obvious physical capabiliities. Positive? Negative? Complex?

Pic on-topic.
