My very first real grown up job that wasn't retail, I used to work nights,. It was physically killing me since my sleep was always fucked up. By the end of it people told me I looked like a corpse, so I realized I had to switch to doing something during the day. But walking empty city streets to go buy coffee and snacks at the 24 hour place nearby is something I legitimately miss.

One of my best friends worked night shift security and made decent money but it totally fucked up his life. He never got a full nights sleep, stayed up all night then slept all day like a bat and could not hangout nearly as often. He also got depressed a bunch too because he was so isolated from everyone. We are not meant to work night shifts as humans imo.
