Because it's clear to them of what you're trying to convey on their platform, which violates their code of conduct.
All literally for pre-teens seeing a number they have no idea about and automatically knowing what pornhub and racism is........ there's an extra level of appreciation hell for US taboo policies when it comes to interactive platforms, especially in games that kinda sorta don't really offer voice chat if one doesn't want to nor where it's necessary like in Call of Booty.

Yeah, I’m sure the average Internet user is aware enough of what taboo terminology exists. Even so, a quick Google search can help. I don’t know Turn 10’s moderation staff or process, but I’m sure they keep themselves in the loop through player feedback or contextual research.

Well, then case and point - everything is easily accessible now and barring speech from public forums is just nonsense. Both of us are here on the farms and all.

Forza servers =! public forums (or Kiwi Farms)

All I'm saying is that I understand why Turn 10 is persistent on sanctioning/banning particular iconography or phrasing from its online ecosystem. E.g., 8647, which is obviously a controversial political statement that invokes political violence.

I just noticed that you get more from the VIP bonus than you do for winning the race.

A contemporary comparison I wish to make with Forza Horizon (1) is Midnight Club: Los Angeles because they're both open-world racers with different philosophies. Midnight Club's essence is illegal street racing. Forza Horizon, meanwhile, has organized point-to-point races. I guess calling Horizon 1 an "open-world" racer is a stretch since you could only drive on roads.

If you want to be adventurous, play Horizon. If you want to be rebellious, play Midnight Club: LA. I do not want to say one is better than the other since they go in different directions. Plus, I do not want to devalue either game based on preference.

The first seasonal playlist just kicked in on FH6. It's now Summer and these are the first batch of reward cars.

Midnight Club: Los Angeles
Was an immense gem of a game through and through and it's a DAMN shame we'll never get a PC port to play with more modern controllers than PS3.
Midnight Club 2 had a PC release, that's it.
Personally it was like playing a weird, race-only focused GTA and to be fair that's kinda what it was at the time.
Since we're talking about Japan and UGC, Turn 10 recently updated their community guidelines to define what is considered a "Rising Sun" flag.
Somebody here said that South Koreans complained about the Rising Sun flag in context with their history
Korea should have zero say on anything car-related or adjacent. Kids today have zero clue what any of the old flags mean and your 90 year old grampa playing a racing game is like .000000001% of the player base if that. Fuck making a list and checking it twice on what we can't design with an open-fucking-designer....Just shut the thing down and give us pre-made vinyls and limit how many we can slap together that will avoid the possibility to offend someone.

Got into a discussion with some guys the other day about car combat games like Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8. Are there any modern successors to those or any likely on the horizon? I miss driving around and shooting buses with rocket launchers.
God I miss Interstate 76&82..........I know there were some odd and end shooty racers since, but can't quite remember the names of em off the top of my head. If you want to take a trip down memory lane though, look up Vangers. That will forever be one of the pinnacles to come from a drunk, depressed mind of Russian game devs.

Closest to that would be with Xbox One/Series through backwards compatibility. Some music was delisted I believed and sharing car (designs?) has been discontinued thanks to the GameSpy closure.

Midnight Club 2 is definitely the black sheep of the franchise. I think it used influences with futurism and the import/export scene. Every racer was voice acted and exaggerated, no licensed brands were used then, it had a PC racer and it's well known for being a brutally difficult racing game.

I'm surprised they haven't done that. I guess since Forza is well known for customization, that would just create further backlash.

I'll say it again - when they removed weekly ranked, which was optional but a CORE freaking feature, and made Forzathon into a complete joke in 5 - I just gave up. And we never got a goddamn red '93 Sentra sedan that is the crux of Mexican roadways. And new stock tire physics feel like complete and total ice-rink and maybe i'd forgotten if 5 was the same, but it just feels more like 4 was with racing slicks and just doesn't feel good.

Like I said already - 6 leaking on release is absolute poetic justice, and hopefully people figure out some way to tunnel private servers or something for pirates to sail rice paddies together.

I hate unordered races. It's one thing to have a set path, but collecting checkpoints in any order creates chaos and confusion.

I remember the backlash for that decision. I never used it myself, but I saw the importance of it. Racing itself is competitive.
