I get what you mean, though this was specifically a ‘ground-up’ redesign of the first game, hence her green hair, and the purple undergarments (the little boomerang shape on her top was something that consistently appeared in art from the first game). So, while it’s definitely niche, I still tried to retain some recognizable elements of her specific OG design. Context matters too— this isn’t her zero-suit, it’s literally just underwear, and it was alongside other pieces. Don’t want to derail this topic too much, but here’s what it was paired with.

I have to say I'm a fan of this redesign. It's simple and I enjoy the shape language.
 
MenDrawingWoman is just a shittier version of badwomensanatomy. The main problem with the sub is that most of the post pictures of women who have either large breast or are skinny or have unrealistic poses. They do not get the fact that most poses aren't realistic because realistic poses aren't as expressive as stylized ones. They get pissed at drawings.

Gee, it's almost as if exaggerated poses are more dynamic and obviously reflect fantasy art. (They're also easier to draw because they're more obvious about what parts of the body are emphasized)
Also, did you know that if you don't like a reference picture, you can - oh, I don't know - draw one yourself??? You don't even need a model if you understand proportions well enough! Wow! Either this person is that creatively bankrupt or "she" just wants to complain.
The initial pose sketch is something I really enjoy, and it's easily the most disposable/changeable part of a drawing. Granted, I've been doing it for a while but the only things you need for something like this are paper, pencils and practice. No sweat if it's not perfect, I can just do another in 1 or 2 minutes.

Far as the redesign goes, the worst just seems to be her packing a few extra pounds. She hasn't been given a bad face or body hair that looks like it was lifted from a 50 year old redneck trucker. Then again one thing that can work against the redesign is anyone sperging hard on how "women should be drawn like this" or "real women look like this" when they're all screeching about drawings that fall on stylization. And I doubt any of this such as Uzaki actually is mainstream beyond being in one place where it likely isn't even big compared to all the internet slapfights people are making over some titty gremlin.

Now that right there is one that's much worse. For an art fix, they really made the hands look deformed just like with the face.
