excellent find, which led me to this beautiful event: "Airplay 3"

https://medium.com/@TheQuQu/announcing-the-flunkel-awards-6f12e41c54da

the podcast itself:

I couldn't make it through the full 3 hours because i could actually feel my iq dropping.

I love how gg got the most incapable army of degenerates to pretend to be activists for a few months.

What the fuck is his fursona supposed to be?

Some kind of moe panda chihuahua?

For fucks sake, furries were autistic enough without the politics.
All-furry subforum when?
We might need a subforum for furries as a whole soon, considering there's also a (much slower and smaller) rise in the presence of Antifa furries, but I don't believe that side has spawned any prominent members yet.

That's right. According to TheQuQu, Altfurry is a furry supremacy movement bent on pointing out "human privilege" wherever we see it, including "putting an an end to humansplaining." Can't make this up.

Worth noting is that QuQu started out on the internet as a somewhat known GamerGate supporter, before eventually turning critical of many of it's people over time, kind of like what happened with some of the other people who used to be a part of it. Now he openly likes to shit on KiA and some of the figureheads who went downhill. He's also AFAIK responsible for creating the AltFurry name which was initially a joke.

By the end of 2015 however he was showing signs of moving on:

and by around April 2016 was starting the AltFurry hashtag:

QuQu reminds me of a lot of other ex-gamergate internet personalities in the sense that while he's somewhat self aware and is a shitposter, he does have some crazies (including Len and other altfurs) sucking up to him on Twitter. Len added him in his server to have him in there, but he rarely talked in there preferring to stick in places like his own server. He seems to be more interested in GamerGate, politics, and similar topics judging by his posts and RTs than AltFurry drama. If anything he's less of a cow than many of the people involved with AltFurry IMO, but watching his supporters could bring some quality content, and I know that on his public IRC chat there are some....interesting people in it.

You may need to dig into it to confirm(on Twitter specifically) but I remember QuQu explaining the hashtag was actually started by someone else before they commandeered it.

As for QuQu's cow status, I can't really judge. They are present in every AltFurry server I have ever been in personally, but are almost always totally inactive. QuQu's Twitter is mainly used for grandstanding to altfurry members and drawing attention to content released by them. Trying to build up a base of loyal viewers, as is usually seen in other low tier Youtube personalities trying to make it big.

Might be something more if we poke around. Seems fairly touchy on the subject of who is the real 'altfurry leader'. Often bickers with people who call that into question.

the cow status is indeed ambiguous. tbh i expected things to pick up but their online presence has been pretty middling for a while now. just gg tier shitty youtube videos and shitposting. perhaps the thing to watch is their convention presence? not much going on digitally aside from the occasional spats others have recently referred to.

The thing people need to understand about QuQu here is that he is an attention whore. "Imma be the leader of the AltFurries, because there is no such thing as bad publicity~!" QuQu does nothing but echo out things that other people state, and is more than happy to be the designated signal booster. That's all he is good for to the altfurs. That and being a scapegoat, except no one pays attention to him enough for him to BE a scapegoat.

QuQu is not really someone with his own mindset, he'll just repeat everything else that he is told to. He is pretty much an empty shell. As for the leader thing, altfurs say that only because Casey doesn't want to be out in the open about the fact that he is the one running the shit show.

When he says "We need altfurry" in regards to the kind of retardation that happens at conventions, I fail to see the efficacy of having dog fuckers and kiddy fiddlers attempt to repair a supposed moral fabric.

"We need altfurry"

He's got guts, but not the god damn brains, then again, when did lolcows have brains?

"This is why we need #altfurry" is pretty autistic, even as a shitposting meme. It just shows how they emulate the alt right by dumping as much meme magic as they can thinking it will help them. Too bad meme magic is not a thing, and even if it was I am certain that a phenomenon, originating from a place that hates furfags with all their might, would be anything but detrimental.

:powerlevel: That’s what I remember them from! GG! I was never overly involved in it, I could tell from the beginning it was full of :deviant: and :dumb: content, but I knew I recognized the name! Not surprised they ended up being an altfurry. I think everyone who was in GG turned into an lolcow.
