The Queen spent Wednesday night in hospital for preliminary medical checks and is now back at Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace has said.
The 95-year-old monarch returned from hospital at lunchtime on Thursday and is "in good spirits", the palace added.
The Queen was said to be "disappointed" after cancelling a visit to Northern Ireland on Wednesday.
She was given medical advice to rest for a few days, after a busy schedule of public engagements.
In a statement on Thursday night, Buckingham Palace said: "Following medical advice to rest for a few days, the Queen attended hospital on Wednesday afternoon for some preliminary investigations, returning to Windsor Castle at lunchtime today, and remains in good spirits."
The Queen was seen by specialists at the private King Edward VII's Hospital in central London, about 19 miles (32km) from Windsor. Her admittance is understood not to be related to coronavirus.
The overnight stay was said to be for practical reasons and the Queen was back at her desk undertaking light duties on Thursday afternoon.
The King Edward VII's is a private hospital in London's Marylebone used by senior royals, including the Queen's husband, the late Duke of Edinburgh, who received treatment there earlier this year.
It has been a busy period of official engagements for the Queen.
She was pictured hosting a Global Investment Summit at Windsor Castle on Tuesday evening alongside Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
An official record of the Queen's diary showed at least 15 other formal events during October.
On Wednesday, a Buckingham Palace spokesman said the monarch had "reluctantly accepted medical advice to rest for the next few days".
He said the Queen was "disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland" - which would have involved an overnight stay.
She is expected to lead a royal delegation to the Glasgow COP26 climate change summit in two weeks' time.
Earlier this week, the Queen declined a magazine's award of Oldie of the Year, saying "you are only as old as you feel".
She "politely but firmly" turned down the award, but sent the Oldie magazine a message with her "warmest best wishes".

Just a preliminary thread for now, but it's worth keeping an eye on, pretty sure this was how it started with Philip...

So earlier today when I heard the news, I asked my phone to play God save the Queen. It started a playlist with God save the Queen... by The Sex Pistols. It was then followed by Anarchy in the UK. Gotta say, pretty appropriate.
I got something better.

Still haven’t gotten over Falklands, huh?
Charles is going to be a dumpster fire of hot takes, William IDK, and his kid will probably do something catastrophically stupid to burn the whole edifice down.
My money’s on Harry and Meghan. ESPECIALLY Meghan from what I’ve seen.
Say what you will about the state of the monarchy, Elizabeth was born under an inescapable burden and she carried it with unfailing grace and dignity, unlike most of the deranged egomaniacs who seek out positions of power in government.
@The Last Stand would be proud.

Considering the monarch and prime minister meet weekly to discuss the latter's performance, I would not be surprised at all if that were the case.
I’ll be honest, I think America should do something like that. In exchange, we teach Britain about the Second Amendment. And maybe the First. I forgot what was in the Magna Carta.

In theory it was for the separation of powers, doesn't have much affect when everyone in the government has been in this incestuous relationship with large interest groups forever.
I am afraid of a long serving government offical more than the (relatively) chaos the conflicting government agencies and interests have.

Queen Elizabeth was a globalist, albeit a prude conservative lite one. Her alleged "neutrality" in important matters was a deflection of taking accountability when she didn't want to involve herself, simultaneously allowing her to work through cronies.

It is unfortunate she has since been replaced by King Charles, an utter buffoon who reminds me of someone who smelled a wet fart from eating too many beans. Diana, Princess of Wales was a bit of an exotic loving floosy who reminds me of Luanne from King of the Hill, but her heart was in the right place. Albeit divorced, I wish she could have been alive to tardwrangle her sons, ex-husband, and the BBC.

Just here to leave my F in the chat, I was a bit of a Teaboo (I belive is the term for a brit culture lving faggot) during my childhood and teenage years because of James Bond.
And if I was Charles I would totally crown myself King Arthur II of England and then watch every historain and news outlet cope, seethe and dilate publishing thousands of pieces explaining that Arthut Pendragon was not real, While I pretty much do nothing for my entire rule as King

I thought reptilians couldn't die.
It feels bizarre, I was totally buying Liz was immortal, just feels wrong somehow.

I didn't think she'd last too long after Philip died. You can't be married to anyone for 70+ years and not feel like a part of yourself died with them, waking up and remembering they're gone every morning.

Her family had a load of idiots and nonces (to borrow a phrase from my limey cousins) but Liz always seemed nice enough, even as American it does feel sort of odd knowing she's gone since she was such a well known global figure.

I wish people would stop gravedancing this woman. She didn't do anything to anybody.
Let's see. The Queen mishandled many of the Commonwealth countries in Africa such as Kenya, Rhodesia/Zimbabwe, and South Africa. She ignored apartheid until it was too late and filthy Nelson Mandela gained power, fucking up thing from behind the scenes with mismanagement of abolishing apartheid. The Suez Canal invasion was a failure in Egypt.

Queen Elizabeth also pussied out on many Caribbean countries and didn't hold as firm a grip on Canada as she should have. Her relationships with Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher were questioned a lot. Hong Kong being handed to China on a silver platter was also regarded as a huge failure. The Troubles in Northern Ireland were mishandled. She could be quite sue happy as well, but I don't blame her for batting against paparazzi and journalists. Australia and New Zealand non-intervention as well. There's also the fact she did not tard wrangle Tony Blaire during Middle East conflicts.

Some people think she was too silent on Brexit when she could indeed throw her weight around, certainly do something other than isolate in her numerous abodes. The vast fortune she horded came under intense scrutiny. Her acceptance of covid nonsense will be remembered as idiotic. She oversaw the vast influx of Paki immigrants and idiots destroying boroughs in London. There are also conspiracy theories regarding her killing Diana and making it look accidental.

I'm not one to piss on her grave, but she damn well could have been a better queen. Her being a "just a figurehead" is horseshit.

I called it, Charles and the others aren't taking that cheap ho's shit. 1662795461218.png

I think the realization that Granny was the only one who cared about keeping him in the fold finally sunk in.. I think he understands that finally in this picture.

I would never have been as nice about it as QE2 but then I'm not the bong queen. He chose that stupid ho over family, so be it.

I'm feeling optimistic about Charles. Most of the criticisms you hear about him are from salty old boomers who like to make jokes about him talking to trees and getting cucked by Diana, but frankly I think it's good that he actually gives a shit about the environment.

I'm not a monarchist but I do support a more active monarch. If we have to have a king he might as well do something.

Nigger academics in the USA are 1. Bitching and wanting reparations gibsmedats at this and being repugnant trash and 2. Highlighting how niggers can be be disgusting hypocritical trash and get away with it.

It's great when vermin give you the rope to hang them with.

The amount of angry black people calling the queen a "colonizer" and tapdancing on her grave is really gross. Just completely tasteless and also not so subtly showing their blinding hatred of whites that Uni's around the world have ingrained into them. When people bring up critical race theory and all that Jazz just remember they are being taught to hate your fucking guts. They hate you. The future is bleak.

Elizabeth as a person seemed nice, and I find all this grave-dancing very crass. At the same time though, I'm glad that the United States is a Republic and not a Monarchy.

She dead now and was never going to fuck you anyway so you can stop simping.
You should try telling @The Last Stand this, he really needs to hear it. I mean he will eventually need to hear it for all the old ladies he wants to bang, but still he may just try and book a flight to Britain with a shovel, some condoms and a bucket of lube in his luggage at some point in the not too distant future.
Will Sargon use this to kick start his Libertarian dominance?
I'd love to see him try this, but I don't think he's retarded enough.

It is gross but it's awesome. They're showing their true colours. I'm archiving fuck out of the worst of them and leaving the archived links all over social media so people see them and pay attention to what these roaches are really like.

Make hay while the sun shines and all that. I especially love asking people "how do you think their reaction would differ if the person saying this was white or if they questioned mutilating the genitals of a child" then watching them realise how it would vary.

This whole thing is gonna show a lot of people who those they know really are.

Do people really believe an old woman with a permanent scowl was somehow 'nice' just because the media was literally forced to report exclusively positive things about her, or is all the 'Elizabeth was a good person actually and we should be sad she's dead' stuff the old 'people I don't like are happy she's dead so I should be sad she's dead'?

There is the person Elizabeth and the institution The Queen, the latter was hardly always a sweet (old) lady. And who knows what the person really was like?

The Queen is Dead God save the King.

That aside I'm worried if this could leave a power vacum for the UK. the royal family still has more trust Worthy ness then the NHS or Parliament.
