yesDo you guys just tend to draw whatever you want whenever you want
yesand use whatever you struggled with to know what to focus on next
probably, but there is no magic trick that's gonna make you an art god overnightor is there another method that helps you know what you should improve on?
not really. everyone has preferences but as long as it works, it works. i personally think that soft graphite on smooth bristol is pure sex, but to each their own.Does the type of paper you use matter or not?
i do recomend you read the art WIP, advice & critique thread to ask questions and post your works in progress if youwant to hear what possibly tou can improve onDo you guys just tend to draw whatever you want whenever you want and use whatever you struggled with to know what to focus on next or is there another method that helps you know what you should improve on? On days when I can’t draw, I play or compose music. On piano or guitar. Although my “can’t draw” is more due to a block or lack of inspiration, not an injury.Opposite question, how do you guys deal with days where you can't draw?
If we talking creative block i usually doodle things from weird angles and in weird perspectivesOpposite question, how do you guys deal with days where you can't draw?

But maybe you could try painting instead? Painting and mainly Fingerpainting is awesome and it doesn’t strain the wrist so much as drawing. I read an advice somewhere, that you should draw from your shoulder, not the wrist to avoid fatigue. No detail, large canvas, big strokes can help with that.
Do you draw daily? How many hours do you spend drawing a day?
BTW you are very talented, I love the work you shared.
I appreciate it!If we talking creative block i usually doodle things from weird angles and in weird perspectives
Shapes buildings faces stuff like that.
If we talking phisycal inability to draw (thankfuly i wasnt in such position as of yet) probably reading or playing something not as action intensive like rimworld or factorio.
If you looking something to read i can recommend you Disc world by Terry Pratchett. I kinda borrowed all of my sense of humor from him. But theres a specific order in which you should read them so you would have to look it up.
