I would say because it was 3D (and you know, people kinda don't like that because it might look too realistic) and because it surprisingly drew a lot of attention despite being a very obscure and niche game for fucked up perverts that came from Japan. You remember YandereDev talking about playing Rapelay? That was the audience of the game. It wasn't a haggard and greasy dude in his 30s that was a registered sex offender, but impressionable teens and young adults that were eating up something really fucked up.

The Hot coffee was a short stint that sure made people cry about it since it was a maninstream videogame that had sex in it. Meanwhile, you have something that gets a lot of popularity for being a rape and branwash simulator that on top of that, it's 3D and is prevalent in some obscure corners of the internet.

That one I remember and I don't remember it as popular or widespread in any way. It was meme coming out of Something Awful or 4chan at the time along with Battle Raper and the stalking simulator. SA probably still have reviews up for them. And you know how the media treats memes that can get clicks, right? It was originally a "lol japan" type of thing. I saw similar articles about Skyrim where they fretted about potential serial killers(they're called incels now) practicing dismembering nude women with fully erect penis swords.

It spent quite some time in development and garnered a bit of infamy due to its content. The funding platform didn't permit certain, uh, elements and threatened to pull the plug on the whole thing altogether at any given notice, which made the developers "change" those aforementioned elements to avoid more bad press than it already got.

And those are only the ones I remember, mind you. I think it had a plot about raising money to pay a debt in there somewhere, but it's just an excuse to give the main character a reason to literally fuck around.

Well, the game has widespread incest and still didn't got the axe. I'm a bit scared of even knowing what was the shit that got removed.
Also, on the topic of removal, i already said it before in the thread but Patreon went strong axing "depictions of non consensual sex" in their platform. You may think it's weird since many of the people in the platform still make things with rape in it, but the main things that got the axe were the hypnosis and mind control fetishists, and they haven't stopped crying about it since Patreon fucked them up.

I remember in one free game like cookie clicker but with hypnotizing women that was in Steam that one of the first things the devs say is to donate directly because Patreon fucked them in the ass.

Steam/Valve are a bunch of degenerates. They put lolita porn games on the best sellers this week list, but banned a tounge in cheek game - Super Seducer 3, because it triggered the twitter mob.

In this case it's not that Valve are a bunch of degenerates, it's just that they yield to any kindof pressure as long as it doesn't cause a huge stinker or a potential lawsuit. It doesn't have anything to do with the content since they have craploads of degenerate furgaggotry and pseudo-loli shit.

Have in mind that this is not the only time Valve pulled down a game from Steam. The most important case was when a Taiwanese Developer (i think the name was Red Candle Studios) got both their games Detention and Devotion pulled down from Steam because China demanded it (or would make Steam illegal on China). The troon outrage is just a much smaller scale event, but it has potential consequences if they don't yield to the people that can cause the biggest stinker, because that will be a loss of reputation and potential lawsuits that Steam knows that most likely won't win.

And the ironing is that Steam have had their store taken down in Chinka as part of Pooh's war against videogames and grass eating men.
Valve should clean up their storefront from pedo shit, and get to making Half Life 3 before Gabe has a heart attack.

Never so long as doing what the do makes them money. Unless Epic Store becomes a threat to be reckoned with, they will not change anything and even less risk making a game that might potentially incur losses

That's why I'm taking some of their accusations with a grain of salt. Even with some of the users posting screenshots from their Discord (which requires a verified phone number to join), they don't do it for some of their other claims, like saying that the devs were discussing plans on stealth patching the loli aspect back after they get on Steam.

Hey, i played several of those back in the day. The one i remember the best was one about you being Adam and needing to fuck several Eves to have lots of kids while keeping a giant gorilla that would assrape you off your back.

Also, while reading again part of the thread i remembered another VN. This being one that i've heard quite a lot of bad things about. It's made by some german dudes and it's straight out pedo shit. I don't remember the title it had in german, but the rough translation was something like Bernd and the mistery of Underage Creek or something like that.

Which reminded me that a lot of german artists in twitter either draw loli or furfag crap.
