So let me get this straight: you can legally whore yourself out in Sweden, but if your client takes your offer and pays you for it, he's breaking the law? How do you fill your tax returns for money you made this way? Does the only "legal" way involve forcing yourself on your client and forcefully taking his money? That way, he technically didn't procure or solicitate the sex act from you.

If true, then I beg the question of what were they thinking when they made it like that? To protect trafficked sex workers? To buy feminist votes for incoming election?
A bunch of race car drivers live there because they don't get taxed since its not a legal form of income there. Europe stays retarded.

Not only that, they were/are trying to add a new wrinkle to it that makes buying sex rape. The sneaky idea is that it would entice the prostitutes to press charges against every customer and collect money by being awarded damages.

They never actually thought about that. One prostitute tried. Made a big thing about it in the news and called the prime minister her pimp. That's pretty slick though.

That sort of happens except it's a guy with a gun that makes the dude empty his bank account and they're banking on him not going to the police.

Also, there is only like 1 guy in Sweden who makes porno videos any more, some redneck slob who operates a trailer park and shoots porn in said trailer park as a side hustle. The only reason why he is actually making money is probably
A: He doesn't pay the male talent.
and
B: He copystrikes like a motherfucker.
I have a good feeling his videos are super low quality, just from reading your post alone.

Trans woman that was tweeting people while underage asking for advice on how to get in the porn industry, and then basically started filming once she could. Has recently kind of detransitioned. It's a bit confusing tbqh, and I suspect they're confused about it too. They keep swapping between their male and female persona.
From an interview I saw they're said they were nonbinary and seem to be one of the few who actually understands what the term means. Basically Ella is just a character they play in films.

Why would prostitutes be for that? Nobody would ever buy sex from a prostitute then.
Yes, that's the plan. A prostitute is broke and hooked on meth, then suddenly she(these rules/schemes does not apply to male prostitutes) remembers that @The Demon Pimp of Razgriz paid for a handy three years ago. That's rape. Could take him to court or extort him directly, hm...

It's great, nothing can go wrong.

That's actually political genius. It uses a popular, and somewhat plausible, argument that no politician would want to publicly oppose, and it effectively makes prostitutes into government agents against prostitution. It reminds me of this:

they will reach some kind of economic equilibrium eventually. like, they'll figure out how many clients they can rob or extort safely before it starts driving away too much of their customer base.

it's really weird when you compare it to the legal situation of drug sales in some places - selling is highly illegal everywhere, but buying/posessing/consuming small amounts of a controlled substance is often not punished even if caught, so in that situation the buyers carry none of the legal risk while the sellers carry all of it. with these prostitution laws it is the polar opposite: the sellers carry none of the legal risk while the buyers carry all of it.

Basically yes. The idea was that women who was trafficked wouldn't get help if they believed that they faced potential legal punishments. Plus a lot of whores wouldn't go to the police if they were robbed or raped, not that they do so now.

It's worth pointing out that this law wasn't made to legitimize sex work, but rather as a way to help women trapped in it to escape.

To be fair, I do believe that idea came from the feminists party and very few people actually took it serious.

In Sweden, you are better off just raping a woman instead of paying her for sex in terms of criminality. Sweden also once did feminist snowplowing where the budget was diverted to clearing off bus stops instead of roads. A country where Somali and Arab immigrants want to return to their native countries because the streets of Mogadishu are safer than Malmo but you wouldn’t know it because the crime stats are massaged. A lolcow country if there ever was one.

And one where once upon a time, people warned of potential civil war every week.

The idea of making it rape came from the social democratic women, they had some crazy red rad fems in the party, one of them they exiled to Brazil because they couldn't make the craziness stop. She was instrumental in bringing in ROKS as the experts on what we now call gender bullshit. Their foremost expert in all of this was a crazy woman that was shamed out of norway who later destroyed the underlying material for her studies when an ethics committee asked for sources about her wild claims, like all these pedo satanic rape and murder rituals involving top politicians and business men - that she had witnessed in person according to herself. These people had a say in how things should be done.
They had all kind of strange ideas that they tried to make happen. One was that anything received by mail that pertains to buying sex would arrive in a special purple(iirc) envelope so neighbors and others could see it in the hands of the mailman. Oddly enough it's a bit similar to the old glossy brown envelopes that results for STD tests used to come in.

Prior to 2000 there were hardly any trafficking, I think most of it was in the far north though it wasn't reported much because no one involved were Swedish. Lots of Eastern European guest workers came there to pick berries and russians trucked cheap vodka and whores over the border to create a temporary slavic Deadwood but instead of being founded around gold it was blueberries. The new law really made trafficking boom and the women that came over didn't speak or read the language or knew anything about the local laws, they only knew what they were told and someone that is trafficking people for prostitution isn't above lying about what will happen if they go to the police or isolating them so that they can't learn on their own.

What would actually happen when the new law came into effect was explained many times leading up to it but was only met with a "nuh-uh" and now there's lots of trafficking, it's exactly what people said would happen. But it was never really about protecting women and they really don't give a shit about eastern european or asian women*. It's all about sticking it to the men.

*at one point they had ideas about straight up denying asian women entry into the country, that way it would be impossible for them to marry Swedish men(saving them from becoming race traitors I have to assume). It sounds weird to outsiders but over time you get used to this kind of crazy radical feminism.

First one that comes to mind is Tila Nguyen AKA Tila Tequila. While not technically a pornstar, she was nude model and had widely viewed sex tape. which I think should qualify her. I nominate her for cowdom not because of her failed music career or drug problem. Tila Tequila is a flat earther.

Imagine saying "I did double anal and fucked a big black plastic dick for the fans!!!" and mean every word. :story:
