Prostitution is not legal in Europe.
It isn't in all of Europe, but it's legal in several places. For example, the Netherlands, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland... While in other places it's illegal but you can bet your ass it's still there, like in France and Spain. And depending on the country, the laws will be convoluded enough to make it a headache on the user. For example, if you're a minor in the Netherlands is legal to pimp yourself out but it's illegal for people to get your services, which is pretty retarded to begin with. And then there is the whole nordic model that people talked about before that is it's own can of worms.
Plus, in Europe you can expect that people will not give 2 shits about those whoring restrictions, since in France a lot of people will go to swiss bordering towns to get fresh whores thanks to shengen treaty. Meanwhile, in other places prostitution is an open secret that the law can't properly tackle.
That is true, also in countries like Germany where Prostitution is legal and highly visible, ads in newspapers (and even at one stage a job centre) active recruiting etc make it easy for brothels to attract young women. Who they then push into being independent contractors, usually in a former hotel where they have to pay 'Rent'.
It's great for coomers, but countries like Sweden that don't want their young women to become whores, have decided to take a different approach, and they've shown going after the users is by far the most effective tactic.

Meanwhile, private escort services employ a wide array of women from northern Europe. Mostly german, but also danish and swedes.

Patreon still has a shitload of porn creators in it and they will most likely never put their foot down on them since they bring in a shitload of money for them. You can expect most western porn artists like InCase or RBG to have a Patreon, and even some asian ones like ShindoL also have it to reach out to westerners. I remember seeing that back in the day one of the biggest earners in Patreon was Fenoxo, a guy that makes porn games with furries in them.
Still, not everything floats for Patreon. I remember some minor drama when they banned non consensual sexual depictions and this also extended to the hypnosis fetish community, so they get the axe and they have been whining a bit about it.

In Spain we have Amarna Miller. I talked about her before briefly but she's pretty much a terribly bitter woman that left porn after being kind of a hot thing for a short period, even if she looks like Pixy. Therefore, if it was dominated by women things would magically become better and people would understand what women want and have wholesome sexual relationships. Probably equal to Sasha Grey in terms of being a windbag with delusions of grandeur.
