Why do we even glorify these whores? I don't want to watch her playing D&D, I don't want to watch how she walks her dog or does groceries. Why would I ever be interested in what she has to say (inb4, "woman detected, opinion rejected"). The only reason why you pay attention to her is because she sucks and fucks on camera. This is not surprising at all. The "sexual revolution" of the 60s had a lot of dark facets we don't often talk about. This was one of them. And Hefner was nowhere near the only person trying to capitalize on it.

It wasn't destroyed. When he died all of his old memorabilia and incredibly incriminating blackmail of him and many other high profile individuals were put into a capsule and dumped into the sea with the location sworn to secrecy. There was a story about it but the finer details elude me.

But that also makes you wonder: why buried at sea and not burned or completely destroyed in some other fashion? Perhaps he wanted someone to find it and expose all the sordid, horrifying details. Who knows!
