Somebody figured out how to prevent the whitewash update, but I assume it only works if you have the game downloaded from before the "fixes" were applied.

The engine is several tens of megs alone, and the music (especially if he used WAV) is also a decent chunk. The art and game code are probably 10% of the entire file size.

Doesnt Steam have a way to play older patches of games? Does it not work for this game?
I remember doing that when I was doing some (very slow) Hollow Knight speedruns, downpatching was just a right click away.

If anyone actually followed through with this, I suggest making it take place in a fictional setting where the guards and camp prisoners have nonsensical skin colors (green, blue, purple, etc.) to help defend against racism and "this is antisemitism" arguments.

While it could have prolonged it, the endgame of slavery would always be to replace slaves with low cost illegals since that massively cuts down on logistics. You don't need to house, feed and cloth them.
