New Movie Night Thread - Every Friday Starting at 6ish

Both F1 and the new Mission: Impossible are out on VoD, however, they are both over 2 and a half hours long. If people want them, I will bring them, but not going to add them to the list otherwise.

A new Pixar movie Elio, is also out, but not something I think people would want to watch. But if I'm wrong, I can bring it for the weekend as well.

I think the F1 movie and the new MI movie people will want to watch, but the reign of Pixar is long over. I wasn't even aware they had a new movie out.

There must be enough goth movies and movies where someone cooks something horrifying to fill an entire Cobes night.

Yeah I was just thinking we could do a little "best moments" things of funny clips before, in between or after whatever was originally planned. I can suggest a few clips if you guys would like, though if we do this, I have a question.

Should we include clips involving NAL? There are some really funny moments, like him saying her vagina smells like wendys food, but it feels really disrespectful given how badly she fucked with his already dysfunctional life.

I second the idea of watching the kind of movies he'd like though.
 
Literally the day after that I saw a dog with a big dog dick and the first thought was that movie. It's going to take a long time for that movie to escape my mind.

Also can we just bring up Cutthroat Island for a sec. Imagine a film that does almost everything good (good sets, good costumes, good soundtrack, great stunt work, good special effects, good cinematography) except that it failed to give a compelling reason to care for it's characters. And that is the most critical thing that can make or break a story. No wonder it bombed.
 
Can we please watch one of @JoeWinko 's sims horror movies this Friday? I'm sure there is a Winkologist in his thread that would be happy to recommend one.
 
I've got the following Jeffrey Combs movies ready for Friday.
Scooby-Doo and Batman: The Brave and the Bold
The Attic Expeditions
The Phantom Empire

Guessing someone else will have already sorted the big movies with him out, like Re-Animator and From Beyond. So I went for shit no one else would have brought, to mix things up, but if we are missing them come Friday, I can quickly grab those movies.

Also, I Know What You Did Last Summer 2025 is ready for the weekend.

I've got Cyclone, Faust, Fortress, Would You Rather, Frighteners, Re-Animator (and Bride Of) and his episode of Masters of Horror.
If anyone could bring From Beyond and Castle Freak that would be neat.
