Whenever I have to delete a post I write some oneliner to the mod as my reason for deletion. Something like "You'll neveh find me looky chahrms tranny jannies". Last time I wished them Merry Christmas. Do they see those automatically or do they have to open a submenu or something?

idk, I really don't delete shit unless the info is out of date or it's an accidental double post or I merged the post into a different post of mine in the thread or something, and then I just put that reason in the Reason Box.

I think I've maybe deleted five posts in 3.5 years, because generally who fucking cares.

I delete nothing, but mods have deleted me. Who's the real mod, I ask you...?

Um, them. They are the real mod. That was a dumb question. You'd think I would delete this, but see the first sentence above.

Idk i only delete if i realize i replied to a late as fuck post or accidentally post in wrong thread

I’m gonna take a guess that “deleting” a message just marks it in a database as invisible, and what you enter for the reason is stored as another column in that same row.

I never delete anything because I figure it's pointless to try to hide the fact I'm an embarrassing idiot.

I'd imagine. In one of his recent streams Josh said he has to go into the database to un-delete posts, so clearly nothing is ever truly deleted.
