In comics, there were very few of the main mutants who got snapped:
Angel
Beast
Firestar
Iceman
Jean, I think.

You'd think there were much more, isn't?

I liked the idea of bringing mutants back after the snap, but it makes no sense because nothing Hulk did would indicate this was something that happened. And the mutants just becoming mutants in adulthood doesn't have the same weight as the "born this way" canon. Are you telling me that Magneto and Xavier JUST became mutants at 40? Magneto doesn't really hold much as a human hater if he hadn't been developing that sense of superiority for decades.

Putting aside that I'm sure they are gonna fuck up their stories and casting, I am not looking forward how they are gonna even explain them. They waited too much for them.
Well yeah you change the bullshit some so he accidentally makes it happen, I didn't mean like, EXACTLY the same except that

Braining someone with a brick to the face, during a live stream, would be a fucking goldmine to someone like JJ Jameson. I would immediately be interested in the series if it dealt with that particular angle.
A BIPOC, no less. An urban youth. A socioeconomically disadvantaged aspiring astronaut.

God damn, they are shilling the hell out of Nigger America 4 at the NYC Ball drop this year.

Every time I turn my head to the look at the camera view of Times Square on the TV I see a shitty ad on one of the billboards lining the buildings.

They are really desperate to get people to see this inevitable garbage pile.

the best way to do it was to have the un-snap accidentally the universes and they walk out into Times Square as Adult Spidey swings after Hobgoblin, the mains quip to the effect of "oh boy" then a bunch of cars start swirling around, pan to the right and a purple glove and an off screen SNIKT! cut to black THE END
don't explain it beyond "fixing the snap changed stuff"
In a better timeline that "oh boy" would be said by Quantum Leap's Sam Beckett* standing nearby before leaping out just to drive home that the mains are "no longer in Kansas anymore" and nothing will be the same.

*Yes I know that's his signature line when leaping into a new body.

Reshoots always precipitate antagonistic marketing trying to trick bottomfeeding influencers and the periodical websites which report what other websites are reporting other websites are reporting into taking up free advertising for the turd which has gone over budget. Then it will fail at the box office for three weekends straight before Disney starts tweeting that it's the number one film in America for the third week in a row. And reshoots for the next diverse and inclusive tentpole will be reported, along with a change of directors for the tentpole scheduled after that, and the release date for all other announced tentpoles shifted back a year.

They have to satisfy the Black Rock kikes somehow, especially when they've spent nearly 300 million on this shit and all signs point to it being a colossal failure.

JJJ reimagined as a quarter-black race grifter constantly accusing Spidey of racism on Bluesky.
if anyone in Marvel was honest this is how it would play out, especially in a fucking Daniel Penny era where we literally see what happens if you try and stop crime in new york, these fucking journalists don't even try to talk about that take, its especially bullshit when you realize the Daily Bugle was a blatant stand in for the Daily News, a notoriously anti-vigilante, pro-crime lefty paper that Stan Lee and the other veterans at Marvel in the 1960s despized with a passion.

I cannot overstate how excited I am to not watch a movie about armed POCs and mossad fighting the Big Bad Orange Red President.

Ah who am I kidding, I'll probably still watch it just to see how much of a trainwreck it is, the same way I always end up reading vile shit on here out of morbid curiosity.

Another piece of Spider-Man media that's both obsessed with him being in high school and insistent on not using his actual supporting cast. Seriously, I have no idea who the fuck any of these people are other than zesty raceswapped Harry. When it was announced this show was (supposedly) not an MCU thing anymore I was hoping we could get an actual Ditko era throwback if you absolutely have to do high school Peter, but instead it's just garbage.
It would actually be interesting if this Parker were more like the original Parker, who had a temper and was kind of testy, instead of some kid who mopes about being bullied and unpopular.

Or, how about this, a depiction of Spider-Man as an adult? He was depicted as an adult for decades in the comics, that was the version many people over the years was familiar with, the post-college Peter Parker with adult responsibilities and relationships. The recent adaptions have it as bad as the comics have had, the revamps and restarts and over the years the arguments and editorial dictates over how "Spider-Man is about...youth".

Also, this new animated series looks awful, it almost looks like it would have to be deliberate. The animation looks like something from one of those really cheap CGI animated films you've seen in the bargain DVD bins at discount stores or uploaded to Tubi.

Which is funny because Peter is canonically 30 in the main book but he still acts like a 17 year old. We have genuinely still not recovered from OMD and its cancerous effect on Spider-Man.

Afaik only the comic strip Spider-Man recovered from OMD, after everyone doing the strip, everyone publishing it on and offline and the readership went rogue. Told Marvel to fuck it's own face, dropped that storyline, buried the bodies and resume the what it was doing before being handed the OMD edict.
Moreso when the strip was already in the middle of another storyline and was forcefully made to do the strip version of OMD.

The writers have an obsession with school and being young.
I wonder if that's because they're trying to emulate manga since a lot of the popular ones take place in highschool. As for the new spiderman show...none of the characters look recognizable any more. Also, it makes zero sense on having a superhero streamer. It's literally self sabotage.

I'm also trying to imagine how a middle-aged Spidey story would go. Assuming he has a wife and kids, she'd always be suspicious of where he's going and why she can't get a hold of him. If you make him a homeowner, he's got a mortgage on him for the rest of his life, and he can't hold down a full-time job because he's ditching it to be Spidey.

No wonder no one writes Middle-aged Peter Parker; he's Walter White.

EDIT: And if you make the wife find out his secret identity, she will demand Peter turn his Spider-Man persona into a business, which is a protection racket.

ngl Breaking Bad But It's Spider-Man could have some real potential

Dramatically, yeah, but Spidey fans would be mad that he spends more time haggling over pay and getting yelled at by his wife than beating up bad guys.

"Gee, maybe Doc Ock was right to rob banks."
