Hispanic women age like dogs. For a while it's all Latina smoke show with a great ass, then you wake up one morning next to this frumpy short tempered turtle creature

I'm at my family's house and they have Agatha playing. They still haven't given up on Marvel and Star Wars. It's pretty bad. I'm really tired of modern cynical writing and everyone acting like they're in a high school play or Disney Channel show.

plus it only happened in nyc. why would that unite the rest of the world? for all the ussr knows, this could be a false flag by the usa.
IIRC, I caught one interview where someone said the reason it didn't just happen in NYC was to avoid 9/11 comparisons. Which one one has is odd but on the other makes more sense. It's not like world peace suddenly got achieved in the bush era after 9/11 if anything the rest of the world cheered. Russia certainly didn't fucking help and Pakistan openly saved the people responsible.

So by all accounts a big reason Zucker had to change the film is because it sort of happened in real life and didn't even work.
The realistic version of Veidt's conspiracy is a dysfunctional, useless clusterfuck until it falls apart, which it will do very rapidly
Outside of the nuclear bomb which is the obvious basis for what Veidt was doing. Or the space program both super secret and actively dealt with leakers with execution until they couldn't anymore. The vice president didn't even know it existed until told when he became president.
So it's...a rehash of WandaVision with different characters no one cares about? Not even like, a unique show about characters no one cares about?
The concept was unique and Elizabeth Olsen wasn't exactly a character we cared about either nor vision overall. Doing wandavision but not focusing on family sitcoms from the 20th century but on parodying TV from the past 20 years makes sense as a continuation. Just in general being a parody of streaming shows is a neat idea for a sequel. It's just that people here hate a goyslop parody of goyslop
She has Hispanic blood somewhere in her family tree, and they mostly age well
This is the worst take of all the ones in this watchmen thread.

Stalin knew about the Bomb before Truman did. These projects always have leaks, and Veidt's version would need to be hidden from the glowies as opposed to hidden by them.

Speaking of shit endings and hack writters im still mad about how spiderman 2099 and hellboy got handled.
One had a good run and ending to his character only to get thrown into garbage due to time travel bs and lol comics and the other had an ending so far up his ass that is meaningless due to him returning a few months later

I only just recently got into hellboy. I didn't realize they ended the franchise on such a downer and so long ago. I assumed it would be kept going forever considering how many movies they keep shitting out.

What did you hate about the ending?

>Bucky raises gun
>"That's not good."
Fucking hackfrauds, I swear to God. There are elements of this that interest me, like John Walker, since I liked him in Flacon and Winter Soldier. That upwards shot of him after he goes nuts and kills the terrorist was fucking cool. And I do like goofy, commie Soviet Captain America, but I can tell the movie will probably be mid at best. I won't pay money for it, but I'll probably check it out when it hits the high seas

read up on "bob" and unless his character is as destroyed as ghost or taskmaster he's not going to be a good fit. His entire character is basically Mr.robot from Mr.robot, except with superman level powers. It actually is a pitch perfect example of what people were whining about in the marvel comics thread because its pretty obvious that the character would have been amazing as a character in its own indie comic/manga, and they really do seem to go to some nutty places with him being both the villain and the hero and who's the "real" person and who's the persona and eventually other writers use him and he's just "deus ex machina"

him in a team up means a shitty rehash of the hulk plotline from the avengers films. Also sort of weirded out how it almost feels like this is a blatant sequel to Black Widdow, with most of the characters from that. Miss Flo being the biggest name outside of Bucky who's obviously in this for 10 minutes at most doesn't bode well either.

Ghost seems like a weird addition too, it really feels closer to a "who needs a paycheck and willing to work for X amount of days" style team up because literally no one besides Bucky seems to be a character people want to see or cared about. Beyond that no way in hell will the cunts over at MCU try to make John Walker a good character or redeem him.

Its mostly with hellboy in hell in general, with whom the bell tolls reading as more of a meta goodbye to the character than an actual hellboy epilogue but at the time i guess it was heartfelt.....until he somehow returns in the gay spinoff, calls the entire franchise gay and fucks off, and that being the actual ending

USAgent is cool, one of my favorite Marvel Characters in the books. Red Guardian is usually an interesting person in the books as well, unless he's being killed by a dude hosting the Red Skull. Sentry should be able to kill all of them in seconds, so I'm not sure what direction this is going to go in. Maybe he'll be on the team and they'll direct his insanity ala Norman Osborne?

It'll probably suck, but whatever. If you were given control over such a project, what would you do with the budget?

Thunderbolts looks like they're making it into a Marvel Suicide Squad - then again, in the books they've had iterations of the Thunderbolts that have been more like Marvel knock-offs of the modern Suicide Squad.
