I did like She-Hulk. I've loved her in the comics, the TV show was fine, for MCU standards. But seeing as the reception around the character was bleak at best, this new Avengers line-up is just bad.
The actress for She-Hulk isn't really the issue, it's more the writing. Jen isn't that endearing in the show despite them wanting us to root for her, especially when she can just overwrite whatever the story puts her through Deadpool-style.

I want to believe this is a troll. I gotta believe man!

I'll only watch another Avengers film if they introduce Rogue, cover her hands in superglue, and throw her at Captain Marvel.

And get thrown off of a bridge. I demand there be a bridge and she get mercilessly tossed off like trash too. Gotta be comic book accurate, right?

MCU Rogue will probably be less of a Southern belle and another "stronk female character". Maybe she'll be gothic like her X-Men: Evolution iteration.

Hot goth would be fun at least. If they go that route it'll be half my face is metal, whore tattoo all over my body goth instead of the attractive goth.

But I'll bet they'll racebend her.

Oh believe me, I expected much worse from that show. Like, A LOT WORSE. The writer wrote the Pickle Rick episode in Rick & Morty, and said multiple times that she never knew how to write She-Hulk.

Despite that, the overall mess of a show atleast gave me a few Daredevil scenes where he finally stands true to his comic roots of fucking like crazy.
Tatiana Maslany is a solid actress, she's a better pick for her role compared to Brie Larson as Carol Danvers (I still wish for Katheryn Winnick to have been Captain Marvel). I don't know what kind of script they will give her for the new Avengers movie, I just want her suplexing motherfuckers in New York.

Linda Carter would've been a great Ms. Marvel.

The level of quality of the Daredevil episode compared to the others is nuts. It helps that Charlie's as good at comedy as he is with drama so he didn't feel out of place.

I find it kind of hilarious they think Kang, some normal plain looking guy, will hold a candle to Thanos.
But ignoring the obvious things like his design and power level, lets talk about setup.

Phase 4 barely set him up, at all. Im sure you can point out a small thing here and there but Kang was practically a non presence in phase 4. Phase 5 seems to finally want to try to set him up but it all feels a bit too little too late. Besides, its difficult to imagine the leap from Mad Titan to some plain old conqueror to be good. Thanos stood out because the MCU has to this day a serious villain problem. Most of their villains either die or/and arent that interesting. Thanos felt different because he wasnt just set up over several movies but when we saw him, we saw a frighteningly humanized monster. Thanos wasnt the hero in any way but we could relate to his determination that he was doing the right thing. The acting, design and writing made him relatable and thus maybe scarier because he still wants to erase half the life of the universe. Hell, not even Endgame was able to replicate the same magic but in their fair defense, idk if they were even trying since the Thanos we knew from I.W gets killed off right at the beginning.

Compared to all of that, Kang just feels like more of the same. Sure, Im sure he is powerful but he just feels...lesser. Like everything Post Phase 3, lesser. Doesnt help that the reception to most of new MCU heroes had not been particularly positive and Chris Hemsworth is leaving this franchise soon because of his health issues so what else they have? Are we seriously worried that Captain Marvel might bite the dust? Or Loki? Or Mr Marvel? Or...Female Black Panther or...or....Dr Strange? Maybe? Oh and Spiderman will be there maybe.

It feels so difficult to care for Krang as a threat at this point. But then again, I feel like its impossible to replicate the MCU as it was in the first three phases. Nothing had been done like that before so of course that, when its done, suddenly any further attempts arent as special anymore.

In a weird way, the MCU is heading towards the same traps as the actual comics themselves. Always trying to one up themselves with mixed results at best.

New and (potentially) final trailer for Quantumania. MODOK officially revealed.

To be fair, Thanos didn't show up until the end of the first phase and barely did anything after that until Infinity War.
