My New Favourite Client- Megan Thee Stallion | Marvel Studios’ She-Hulk: Attorney at Law | Dis...mp4

First thing first. I'm not familiar with Superhero movies like Hulk but I found She-Hulk appearance to be distracting. Like she looks too fake to be believable. Next, it's amazing they had an overhype rapper who's fame is being overweight teach her how to twerk. Like what am I watching? Is this just Disney's Marvel and this perfectly normal? This looks like a bad parody the only people who are going to like it are SJW and pervs who get off to this.
The link in the OG comment is broken.

Her bad CGI doesn't help with fact that she's not a muscular one (something like Gina Carano, Kiki Vhyce, etc.) & The CGI doesn't add enough muscle on her. Also, Tatiana Maslany is a fucking uggo, so it doesn't help.

You're watching zoomie capeshit. As for who gets off to this. There's better looking Shulkie for coomers to go for & SJWs are mostly too impotent to go through with it. A no-standard gooner tho? They have no standard, they'll go with anything.
This is what happens when women write superheroes. Full stop. Women do not understand heroism. It always devolves into narcissistic, self-affirming garbage when they take the reigns.
It's less women altogether & more specifically wine aunts, zoomer e-thots, diversity hires (look at the crew of this show), etc. which are the issue.

I wouldn't say women, since I read books by women who can make a hero. It's more of the modern urban female mindset makes them go completely insane and think they should get an award for existing, and that every action they take is justified with every consequences being unfair.

Ruffalo isn't exactly a bodybuilder. CGI let's you do anything. Look at Evans in Cap.

The frustrating thing is there's a glimmer of fun in there, the clucking hens writing the show smothered it with a pillow.

I think there are definitely feminine and masculine views. Theres a very narrow range of men and women who can write from the other's perspective. David E Kelly, for all his flaws, was someone like that. The problem was, thin skinned people don't like being poked fun at or homaged.

This show desperately wants to be Ally McBeal. But, that show was actually self aware. It made fun of the neurosis in women, their obsession with smell and taste, and their biological realities. It did provide insight into the real barriers and issues facing women, but through the lens of character, story, and with a somewhat even hand.

Fucking lol! They gave the black chick who stole Iron Man's armor a literal black face(plate)!

You can't make this shit up...

I think the bigger problem is that the concept of heroism is derived directly from folklore and religion, two things that are completely alien to modern Hollywood writers.
Traditional Male heroes still exist due to men still socially being expected to sacrifice themselves for others, but they lost the entire depth they once had of love, self betterment and knowledge. Modern male "heroes" are usually given power without the need to learn it, and do not reflect on their reality or make any kind of strong bond with either gender.
Meanwhile traditional Female heroes are completely derided due to epitomizing the idea of being being a good person will lead to a good future, and being supportive to others. And instead became a crude image of the male hero, except without the sacrifice or the depth, leading to just a pointless power fantasy. Modern female """her-oes""" are perfect and inhuman.

A good writer, regardless of gender, can flip the genders and still make it work because the root of those heroes are in shared human struggle.

Irony and insight will take you far; creating a wooden sculpture will not.

Not really. I think part of what makes a character loses something in the transition from male to female. Switch Clark Kent or Tony Stark's gender and some things do need to change.

That's what's inhuman with Brie's Captain Marvel. Sure that movie lacks a meaningful story, character, or internal logic; but Brie's Marvel doesn't really act feminine.

Of course, since the genders are different and their mindset are different. The problem is that those differences are reduced to sexism rather than parenthood, obligations and personal wishes

Finally recovered from a CGI Jolly Green Giant dropping it low, so I can think about the actual quality of the episode. It was...alright? The CG is still way too rough for a character this prominent and I wouldn't blame anyone for finding the writing obnoxious, but Tatiana is still pretty good as Jen and that helps smooth over a lot of the cracks. Not nearly as much as Iman in Ms Marvel (which was a better show overall anyway, minus the antagonists) but still.

Hey, I know this thread is for the MCU, but does anyone remember The Spectacular Spider-Man? Damn good show, not just for kids but enjoyable for adults, too. A real shining example of animated adaptations of Superheroes. It got cancelled after 2 seasons because Disney bought Marvel out and Sony wanted to keep the movie rights so...bye bye, television rights. Would have went on for another 3 seasons with a sequel series and some movies and just more of what you would want, really. Just a reminder of how things could have been without Disney bringing us to our slow death, here. Continue to despair.
