It's frustrating that the execs do this. They don't realize all the work and time and money it takes to get realistic CG and they think just because it's computers, it can happen instantaneously (that's why Rhythm and Hues went bankrupt when making Life of Pi). They realized this with practical effects back in the day because you can see the models and explosives experts actually building or rigging something up in real life. When they walk in an office full of computers, they don't see that, they see people at computers and think it's a simple code or a click of a button because they hear several mice clicks in a second. They probably don't bother looking over their shoulders to see what they are actually doing. But that's all post-production. The fact that they don't care about concept art and storyboards is fucking the whole system over.Marvel just doesn't plan shit out and want to be able to change things as they feel like it. What you are asking for taking planning and more time in preproduction two thing Marvel will never let happen. You would think painting her would be faster, but in terms of shooting it wouldn't, it would just make post production faster which is something Marvel already doesn't care about.
I personality think making She-hulk CGI makes sense as she is meant keep a similar personality between transformations, so having the same actress do both makes sense and there is also a physical change which couldn't be done with the same actor without CGI outside maybe a muscle suit I guess. However on a TV budget and TV length with Marvel production practices it was just asking for trouble to even make this a show. Mean the Hulk himself really doesn't look much better than She-hulk in terms of cgi in this show.
