, Sony is going to have to distance themelves from Shameik Moore (Miles' voice actor) since he is beyond embarrassing trying to openly hit on actresses who are engaged including Gwen's voice actress from Spiderverse
i don't know, i like him. his bowling movie feels very old school. like something you'd have seen 20 years ago. like when idiots talk about how good 2006 was, well guess what nigga this is what actors were like in 2006. they were openly trying to fuck their costars and staring in the most offensive comedies possible and making jokes about rosa parks

Even fucking Ryan Secreast was groping women at award shows, it truely was an age where everyone assumed they were never being recorded ever

The directing in the movie is terrible.
The director Nia DaCosta had only done a few small indie films before The Marvels, was essentially told what to do because most of the effects work was planned in advance so she had no idea what she was actually directing, and was thrown under the bus during post-production.

She was basically hired to talk about Blackness and girl power during press tours.

I think he got away with it for as long as he did because everybody thought he was gay.

The difference between that and Shameik is he basically acts like one of those "nice guys" who thinks a girl would bang them for basic pleasantries. Like he is the classic fedora tipping dweeb who thinks being a romantic couple in a movie translates to real life, he's just really cringeworthy

Sorry to double post, but holy fuck these idiots learned the wrong lessons for why Deadpool and Wolverine did good

Isn't every Baby Spider movie a team-up? He teamed up with ten characters in the last one.
Well

Homecoming: Iron Man had a cameo appearance, but most of it was reliant on himself.

Far From Home: Had some help from SHIELD, but most of it is himself and Mysterio manipulating him Though Iron Man's technology was used to carry him

No Way Home: Dr. Strange and the other Movie Spider-Men.

Like its been so long since Spider-man went solo, like teamups can work, but man I want a solo Spider-Man film again.

Ironically he groped Kathy Griffin. I know we all hate her but I mean.....also she was one of the first to openly call out Ellen Degenerate for her bullshit.

Thunderbolts is still the only MCU film I'll probably see. I need Black Widow closure. I blame the writers strike for giving Florence Pugh that terrible wig.

Allegedly that little ginger girl who used Kate Bush to be saved from the demon thing in Stranger Things is in consideration for Jean Grey? I am so tired of teenage X-Men. Fucking age them all up and get an actual dark skinned negress for Storm.

As for Shameik he....came out of nowhere. Haylee Steinfeld is probably gonna have to distance herself from him now.

Sadie Sink is 22. Jean was about 18 when she joined the Xmen. In theory, the xmen should be in there 20s during their main storylines.

Finally watched Heckin' Deadpool and The Michigan Wolverine. It was good by modern capeshit standards but about half an hour after it was over I started hating it for some reason. Deadpool is such an obnoxious unfunny homosexual character while Wolverine carried the movie. The cameos were okay, but there was no reason for Blade to be there since he's a New Line Cinema character and not from the Fox universe. Gambit's weird homoerotic cock talk was kind of funny, but damn why is the movie is so fucking gay?Like every scene is a dude being hot for another dude or talking about sucking cock or grabbing erections.

I cannot stress how gay this movie is. Gay porn is less gay than this shit.

A team of zoomers is surely what will turn the MCU around. Maybe they can get Chappelle Roan to play Rogue.

Apart from Havok, who was like, 40-ish in Apocalypse. I'm merely comparing him and Cyclops, who's roughly 16-18 in the same film.

@Tasty Tatty How old was Nightcrawler supposed to be in the comics, when Charles rescued him? 'Cos Kodi Smit-McPhee was 19-20 when Apocalypse came out.

@Quarterback Rex Grossman It's lowkey chuckleworthy that you mention the gay shit, 'cos apart from the early X-Men comics being an allegory for queers hiding who they were, there have since been actual homosexual Mutants.

Here are some:

In the case of this panel, (at least) Family Guy beat them to it.

I'm not sure if Dani Moonstar is actually gay, or that's something they decided to throw in there, in New Mutants.

This is Jonas Graymalkin, a distant relative of Professor X. His old man was also called Charles. To me, he's the most interesting out of the images I've found, as he was a teenager in the late 1770s, or very early 1780s. To cut to the chase, his dad caught him having relations with another lad, beat the shit out of him, and buried him underneath where the X-Mansion would be built. His main ability helped him survive the 200+ years he was buried.

Empyre_Vol_1_1_Kree_Skrull_Variant_Textless.jpg

Hulkling here, is the odd one out. What I mean is, he was adopted, and assumed his powers were because he was a Mutant. He's actually the half Skrull son of the late (original) Captain Marvel, and is married to Wiccan. Wiccan, I suppose, could be classed as a legitimate Mutant of sorts, as he was conjured up with Chaos Magic and has practically the same powers, due to his mother, Wanda grieving her son, Billy. He's also part android, due to Wanda's grief over Vision dying being involved in the mix, too.

Yeah that's why it's retarded. It's like making Hermione black when she's already an allegory for being a second class citizen.

The beauty of the X-Men, and Hermione for that matter, is that it's an allegory for anything. It can be about being gay or civil rights or da shoah or literally any trait a person can exhibit that receives societal pushback. By operating as a metaphor, both the authors and the readership are able to project a whole array of subjects onto the same concept, and because none of them are explicitly mentioned rather than implied, it all works and they all exist in a state of superposition. At best, having a story about being gay within an allegory for being gay is stupid because it's heavy handed and redundant, but at worst it collapses the waveform and reduces the allegory to a single interpretation, invalidating the many others that people benefit from and enjoy. It's incredibly, unbelievably stupid.

Ironically you forgot to mention Kitty Pryde, who's canonically a kike and a dyke but probably doesn't come to mind because (at least when I was reading) she still upheld the allegory by being primarily concerned with mutant rights, famously equating the word "mutie" with "nigger".

Iceman was made gay in the last 15 years, before that he was a standard hetero dude chasing chicks like Polaris with abilities he wasn't smart enough to make full use of. Jean joined the xmen around 15-16. Nightcrawler was like 17-19 when Xavier saved him from that mob in germany; he'd been travelling with the circus as a runaway-turned-acrobat until then unless it's been retconned.

That panel with the editor telling the writer to drop the queer bit is probably the most sensible thing anyones' said with regards to Iceman in a while. If some dude saved the world or even a city from some threat, the last thing I or anyone with a functioning brain should care about is what he wants to fuck in his off-hours.

Mutie. Yeah... Donald Pierce called Logan and Caliban that. Sounds insulting, like a true slur. It's a decent vile-sounding word. And I think, in the back of me mind, I knew Shadowcat was a Heeb, but I didn't know she was a lesbian.
