Sadie Sink is 22. Jean was about 18 when she joined the Xmen. In theory, the xmen should be in there 20s during their main storylines.
Apart from Havok, who was like, 40-ish in Apocalypse. I'm merely comparing him and Cyclops, who's roughly 16-18 in the same film.
@Tasty Tatty How old was Nightcrawler supposed to be in the comics, when Charles rescued him? 'Cos Kodi Smit-McPhee was 19-20 when Apocalypse came out.
@Quarterback Rex Grossman It's lowkey chuckleworthy that you mention the gay shit, 'cos apart from the early X-Men comics being an allegory for queers hiding who they were, there have since been actual homosexual Mutants.
Here are some:
In the case of this panel, (at least) Family Guy beat them to it.
I'm not sure if Dani Moonstar is actually gay, or that's something they decided to throw in there, in New Mutants.
This is Jonas Graymalkin, a distant relative of Professor X. His old man was also called Charles. To me, he's the most interesting out of the images I've found, as he was a teenager in the late 1770s, or very early 1780s. To cut to the chase, his dad caught him having relations with another lad, beat the shit out of him, and buried him underneath where the X-Mansion would be built. His main ability helped him survive the 200+ years he was buried.
Hulkling here, is the odd one out. What I mean is, he was adopted, and assumed his powers were because he was a Mutant. He's actually the half Skrull son of the late (original) Captain Marvel, and is married to Wiccan. Wiccan, I suppose, could be classed as a legitimate Mutant of sorts, as he was conjured up with Chaos Magic and has practically the same powers, due to his mother, Wanda grieving her son, Billy. He's also part android, due to Wanda's grief over Vision dying being involved in the mix, too.
