As much as I liked Logan, it's plot quite literally ends with an Amerimutts replacing the original X-Men team.
After the children massacre all the evil white men. Deadpool 2 did the same plot, except the adults massacre the evil white men because they knew it would be too traumatizing for a kid to murder a bunch of adults. Deadpool 2 is the more morally responsible movie. Kids should be kids, there will be plenty of time to kill white people when they grow up.

When did the MCU transition to the cult like following it has now? When did they cease to be just a series of movies and become more like a religion for it's fans?

It's odd because looking back I honestly have no clue, I'd say it was that way by the time of Black Panther and Captain Marvel, but I can't really pinpoint an exact moment before then, it seems pretty gradual.
Endgame is a remake of Left Behind

Avengers, when MCU fans began pretending Transformers Lite was the second coming of Titanic.
Avengers is definitely when it really started to explode in popularity, but a decade ago was a very different place, I wouldn't describe it as being cult like like it is today.

I think a lot of it, like so many things about life today, comes down to Trump, Woke people turned to Marvel and Disney's Star Wars as pseudo Religions to cope with the fear they were feeling, that was when it transitioned from fandom to cult.

Especially when most of the actors were pandering to there rage towards orange man. Probably didn't help either

Well, this came out. Apparently the leaks seem to be mostly right.

Yeah, I have to nope out of this. For one, this feels like their glorifying a man's death and it is actually the crux of the movie. That just rubs me the wrong way and just feels plain gross. And two, I have next to no interest in Shuri as Black Panther. Also I'm laughing my ass off at all the derivates. Fucking female Black Panther, female Hulk, black Captain America, black female Iron Man, female Hawkeye, and female Thor. Do better Marvel.

The female Hulk actually is a legendary character, they just took a shit line of comics, & bastardized it to be even worse. Marvel actually fucked over a great character, who already got fucked over a lot as it is.

There is another modern derivative of Hulk, from the time the other derivatives came out. He's Korean, his name is Amadeus Cho. He's ironically the least annoying & pandering one, with only issues being is that he's too much of a gary-stu & takes everything that makes the Hulk endearing & sympathetic away.

She-Hulk actually has some damn good comics by John Byrne, Roger Stern, Peter David, and Dan Slott.

Hell, her first issue was written by Stan Lee. She's not like these other knock offs. She's her own character and actually makes the original Hulk, in comics better.

He's pretty damn pandering. I'd take Red-Hulk over Cho any damn day of the week.

I never said Cho isn't pandering, I just said he was the least pandering one. Also, didn't Dan Slott turned her into a alcoholic whore? Or was that Soule?

Land Niggers vs Water Niggers: the Movie!
What's funny is, the water nigger part is due to race-bending. They brownwashed Namor.

Edit: I just realised that Namor is now a literal wet-back thanks to the MCU.

PAD. She's always slept around since her days as an Avenger.

Anything to do with Wakanda always makes me laugh. Because it's legit some of the most racist shit I've ever seen. The only nogs able to build a civilization in Africa are the ones eating the food laced with magical space mineral. What did marvel mean by this? They all fight with spears and war rhinos and have bones through their lips and noses. They are all played by American actors doing minstrel show impressions of yoruba accents. They decide kingship by ritual knife fights to the death while everyone around them spazzes out - sorry, does 'traditional African dancing.

I'm a racist and I wouldn't come up with that shit, it'd seem crass.

The anal cancer actors legacy is going to be this fucking minstrel show lol.

The trailers for BP2 have been pretty good, but that's not to say the final product will reflect that. I don't envy Coogler's position with having to juggle so many plot points in addition to mourning the loss of his friend.

They even have a Gorilla tribe that hoots to shut down disagreement and calls White people colonizers... when their country wasn't colonized and if they desired, could have fought the Europeans off with their advanced technology.

She-Hulk and Daredevil fucked.

And he does the Walk of Shame the night after.

Oh, and the Sokovia Accords were repealed off-screen a while ago and don’t exist anymore. Just like how no one cares about The Snap anymore.

This show is the worse.
That mustard suit alone was a bad sign, even the show calls it out cause it looks like shit. This is on-top of it being underwhelming & cringe.

Shit that sounds offer thank God I gave up on it when I did

Cringe aside...I actually thought this week's episode was the best one yet. This is relative though since I thought most episodes didn't rise above maybe a 7 at best.

The walk of shame is for women

Men do the victory lap

Anyway like Starborn said, best episode of the goddamn thing so far, mediocre as it was. For action, DD was ok when practical, terrible when CGI. For dialogue, ok in court, ok as Matt, way too unserious as DD, even with Jen knowing it's him. Characterization too light for the character (as if we're still pretending he's the same guy from the show; actor? sure, continuity? maybe, character? no).

The funny thing is, people complaining about DD not being serious and brooding enough get accused of not reading the comics. But it's always fucking Waid's run that they're referring to. Damn near every other DD run goes against the quippy characterization, and they have the balls to claim it's the people who want a serious DD that are "just MCU/Netflix fans and didn't read the comics".

Fuck Waid, by the way

If the rest of the show was like this week's episode, I imagine people would like it a lot more. Oh well. That Werewolf by Night special is getting good reviews, so the MCU isn't quite dead right now.
