Wasn't it DSP who preemptively leaked the DMs? Phil rendered the oath void by telling everyone first. Phil's retardation actually enabled PPP to get one over on God lol. Or did he still sin because it was his intent to sin by leaking the DMs?

My guess, he's just trying to keep the YouTube payments coming in to fund his libertine lifestyle. Josh Pescator, his former cohost, has made mention that back when they were working together that Gundam was making a serious amount of money from YouTube. Gundam had always talked about leaving New York, but now the sudden increase in money made it seem like he would easily be able to leave and buy a new place to stay at. Instead, Gundam fired Pescator, and decided to wallow in New York where he has easy access to drugs and other forms of entertainment. Their combined efforts produced more original content, but left on his own, Gundam is content to produce slop that is consistently, but more modestly, rewarded by YouTube. The topics covered are nothing more than his way of avoiding real work rather than any serious conviction or belief.

the DSP arc ended up falling kind of flat, mainly because DSP is a boring lolcow and the DM's didnt reveal anything people didn't already suspect, also DSP leaked them himself.

Hard not to see it as a W for phil, he was fading into obscurity and the casino picked him up helped him make some money and then put him back to where he was, for phil all that changed is he made an extra 50K

hopefully the casino will get back to sniping people from a distance and not try to be part of the drama which comes across as desperate, a lot of the DMs that leak make the casino look desperate (I guess we'll just take them at their word it was all kayfabe and they were only pretending to be retarded as part of an 8-month long con on DSP that accomplished nothing of value).

the problem is that before anyone leaked the DM's or even threatened to, PPP revealed verbally on the show Kat had medical issues the day of the fallout, when phil told him to apologise for calling kat fat. It then caused Phil to talk about kat having issues on his stream that same day after (which was retarded). Either way, the first person to reveal in public that kat was having serious medical problems that might kill her, and had sought religion in response was Ashton. Obviously this violates the oath and precedes any debate regarding the DM's.

Without regard to how one feels about any of the parties involved, it can be conceptualized as follows. Someone threw a LOT of quarters into a slot machine with infrequent, low payouts. Eventually, the gambler blew up at the machine and walked away. Another party came in, threw in a single quarter (RTU) and the machine started raining coins which were hastily gathered by both parties. Casino got their huge payout immediately after stopping play and they didn't even make the play that brought about the huge payout, they did 99% of the task only to have the final hit point taken away by a third party. Even more amusingly, Phil was the one who invited RTU into the position to do this.
