I had an ex that was not a public figure and had no aspirations of e-celebrity, but was just hopelessly addicted to online chat groups with a combination of IRL friends she saw periodically, people she knew through social media and people she saw periodically and that was bad enough. It isn't exactly the same thing, but the company of physically distant parties always took precedence to my own company and that was bad enough. One of the more poignant comments on this thread is MANY pages back and it said "the more we learn, the more we have to accept that this wasn't parasocial, it was just social" (paraphrase). Andy could defend this by citing all the days he isn't online (or at minimum, extremely online) and that this is basically his 9-5, but there is no world where choosing to game for another 3-4 hours after an 8 hour stream isn't insulting to one's partner, even if you intend to spend the totality of the next day or three together. Taking a backseat to internet people is always insulting.
 
Poor Andy. He thinks his game streams are big, but it's just the viewers who went to the video tab to restart the stream being counted as active viewers. It's rough out there.
He should just game stream, it's obvious he actually enjoys it. But I guess there's no money there.

About 4 months ago, Ashton said something to the effect of clipping channels should "know their role" and that they provide a VOLUNTEER SERVICE. Ashton's uncompromising position since the Fuck Ralph festival has been that time, energy and talents are not free resources and if you want access to the time, energy or talents of another, it is going to cost. Internet production takes time and time needs compensation, else it is not worth doing. If it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense. Yet, all of a sudden he thinks that clipping channels are his slaves and should go out of pocket to provide said service? Meanwhile, he's gonna need 10+ subs to so much as fart. For someone so vociferous about the fact that he doesn't come free, he suggested that clip channels should work for free and even prevented from monetizing their services in any way. I always found this to be one of his blatant hypocrisies and worst positions, as it shows that he has a grand sense of entitlement but will go on longwinded diatribes tearing others down about how they aren't entitled. Considering elissa clips did half of his fucking legwork makes it even worse.

This is one of several reasons that I won't feel bad if his cash cow dries up altogether and he's sent back shivering into the cabin.

On a side note, in the clip where he humps Andy on the floor, seeing him with his pants below his butt line and struggling not to slip on the tile floor because he is a 500 lb lardass in socks, makes it astounding that people choose to feed this pig.

Eh, I stand by my comment it's a good username.

PPP went after her ages ago because 240p cellphone PPP believed clipping channels are dumb, and anybody making any money off the Internet is comitting a cardinal sin.

Now he relies heavily on clipping channels (i.e. elb), and grifts like you wouldn't believe.

I could make a whole list of differences between 240p cell phone PPP and modern KC PPP. It's quite stark.
 
They're almost guaranteed to stream tomorrow. Sitting on the Fuentes story for more than a day would raise a lot of anger in their audience and look highly suspicious. Their last show was sub light and completely devoid of any manic hollering session due to paypig fuckery. Their last show ran very long and never really hit it's groove in terms of the super celebratory spurts the audience has come to expect and the paypigs live for. Between their paypigs being exposed as or linked to perverts AND a lack of the theatrics they enjoy so much, they are currently off balance and can be kept that way. It's worth noting that the art of the negotiation being conducted in real time in front of a live audience has traditionally been part of the high roller paypig package and that's been very light, if not altogether absent, in certain shows. When Phil was on and Ashton was explaining to Phil the thrill of the shoutout in the mind of the paypig, combined with his study of occult like organizations like O9A, experience in high pressure sales, theatrical acumen and general feats of eloquence, Ashton has, up til recently, conducted the paypig symphony with master proficiency. Now the rhythm is off and some of the notes have been missed. Errors like this cascade.
I made it through about half of Andy's gameplay and the only moment of note was when he, out of nowhere, made an offhanded comment of "I'm gonna blow my brains out. Kidding, kidding, kidding, relax, chill, chill, chill" and then continued speaking on his previous topic as if nothing had been said at all. Unless something happens in the latter half of his gameplay, which I will review later tonight, I have no idea why he erased his tweet about yesterday's show.

That fat whorepig wanted to paywall clips to "pay for her internet connection". Pigclips is a very disgusting turbofat entity that should also get the cold cabin treatment for even suggesting such humongous faggotry. Alas current day KC relies on clipping channels and now even their clips are starting to become boring even for the people that somehow enjoy them.

What you just said could have easily come out of PPP's mouth 3-4 years ago and, in fact, basically did (in so many words, anyways).

He was right about TeaClips in that respect, but old PPP was cringe in the sense that he believed anybody making money off streaming is bad. I'm sure we can all agree there's ways to ethically do it. Old PPP came across as almost anti-capitalist at times.

Still, I've decided I'd take old PPP over new PPP. One had a mix of good and stupid principles he stuck by, and the other seemingly doesn't have any.

Its a fucked up version of a somewhat common event. In media you can see the trope of a father taking his son to the whore house to make a man out of him. But, I've never seen it done where the mother watches in the corner while the father helps the son finish in the whore.

His recent rant had that almost anti-capitalistic element to it in regards to clipping channels in general. Clipping channels deserve any ad revenue and donos they can achieve, they put in the time and do a service. Moreover, this does not put the original creator's work behind a paywall. The only caveat I agree with him on is that when the clip is out prior to the end of the stream from which it is taken, it gives the clipper an unfair edge. The clip channels serve as advertisers for the original material, so there is a symbiosis to it and a means by which the clipper can be paid. I have no problem with them putting a cup out as long as they don't go full e-beggar. If streamers can put a cup out and get ad revenue, so should a clipper, provided they do some level of transformative content. It's tricky for sure, but to say that clippers should provide a service that streamers benefit from, while saying the clipper should be uncompensated sounds just like a gigantic landwhale trying to steal someone else's share.
