I know posting about the situation with them skipping shows/not going live is funny and relevant more than ever but they really do not give a shit if they end up breaking the “promise” that they would go live every day in a week or “every day in October”…they already got their money. All their whales are very forgiving and their biggest whales are likely to still be in direct contact with them on discord or xitter DMs. So they can possibly know before the rest of the plebeian paypigs when they’re postponing or when they go live.
I realize this has been mentioned before so give me the alarm clock stickers if you want but it bears repeating. As long as they get $6,000,000/month from CasinoTolerator’s paid subs they could give a shit what the rest of the audience thinks about their scheduling. Then when they come back, Ashton gives a school guidance counselor sounding speech about “wul, guys…the thing is, we wanna make shoor that we have good QUALITY stuff to go ovur with you guys when we go live, otherwise it’s just the same as a booring fawkin killstream “show” where Ralph just watches Tucker Carlson fer two hours straight”. Nevermind that they still have a backlog of shit that happened while they were gone that they could cover but I sincerely mean this: they know what they’re doing and they know they’re at a point where they can afford to miss a couple days in a week and they won’t see a significant drop off in donations/paid subs or viewer numbers.
Speaking of which, has anyone bothered to calculate how much money they're realistically making every month? Like add up all the subs and donos they get each stream and figure out how much that amounts to. Because whatever it is, it can't be nearly enough to justify streaming as little as they do. I know they have extremely generous paypigs, but they aren't THAT generous. When you consider the facts that
1) They have no ad revenue since Kick doesn't have ads, and can't get a Kick deal either
2) they get no sponsorships (the primary source of income for streamers, with ad revenue being second).
3)Besides Kick subs/donos, their only other source of income is Gumroad (which is $10 a month and I don't imagine they've gotten many people subbing to that, and everything I've heard about it is it's largely abandoned or at best sporadically updated) and the Clip channel (which makes jackshit and they have to pay Flaked to run it so what little they make off of that probably entirely goes to him and they solely benefit from exposure the channel gets their Kick)
4)They have to split any money they make between themselves
5) They have sporadically streamed since their show began, going through short bursts of streams followed by extended periods of no shows, and they only make money when they're streaming
Their is absolutely no way they're making enough to warrant being so lazy. At BEST they probably make around 8k a month and it's split between themselves evenly, so 4k a month each (and I'm being generous here). So unless they have secret (((benefactors))) funding them behind closed doors, then they're making just enough to live fairly comfortably. If this is the case, then they are either extremely lazy or extremely unambitous a content creators. They aren't getting rich off of this ever with their attitudes. That such an unimpressive level of income is enough to satisfy them both tells me that they just want to coast by making just enough to fund their lifestyles and nothing more (which for PPP is mcdonalds and gambling and for Warski it's "diet coke") and either lack the desire or merely lack the will to become more successfull as streamers. Whatever the paypiggies are paying them is evidently enough for them to be comfortable noshowing for extended periods of time, but it's absolutely not very much money all things considered.
3k average concurrent viewers means nothing when the two of them are making less (individually) than a vtuber with 300 viewers on Twitch or Youtube (who gets ad revenue, sponsorships, AND paypiggies) because they can't get ad rev or sponsors (both of which would actually allow them to PROFIT off of said 3k concurrent viewership) and are too lazy to consistently stream, and rely on a small handful of paypiggies who are probably just barely keeping their lifestyles afloat and if they stopped giving them money at any point they'd be done for.
