This goes back long before he had a Youtube account, there was an incident where he shit talked someone in the FGC so much they challenged him to a fight when they met at a tournament, which by his own admission he agreed to, realised the other guy was much stronger than him and got out of by breaking down in tears and blaming it on his alcoholism. Craig and Phil hadn't spoken in years and even then were acquaintances at best, Craig did speak to detractors but also tried to reach out to Phil's fans, not a single one of them would defend him. He also gave Phil the chance to prove the WWE Champions account was not his or come clean, which given he has a crippling gambling and alcohol addiction was he kindest thing anyone has done for him in a long time. But he refused, and initially was saying how great the interview was and how he couldn't wait to go on again. It was only when his fans pointed out how much of an idiot he made of himself, and how much money the SS made, that he turned on them.
