Ashton and Andy can both hold their own, if in different ways. Andy did the ETHAN RALPH COPES ABOUT BEATING HIS ''GF'' ON TWITTER stream by himself and did a good job - and he's so fucking goofy he even accidentally said that his throat misses Ashton (28:30) and then tries to talk to Ashton (38:40) who was absent due to visiting family or something.
As for Andy's periodic bouts of incessant pausing, I think it's just because he's having so much fun that he can't help himself - it doesn't take much to make him dolphin laugh.
Neither of them are perfect 100% of the time, but I like watching them even if/when they get a little cringe. They're two guys who fucked up in the not-so-distant past and really turned it around, so maybe that's why.

PPP and Josh together on stream have good energy and PPP can be very funny so I do hope they discuss the balldocam footage together, but Warski needs to have his jaw wired shut permanently. PPP should have followed the wisdom of "don't make your girlfriend your co-host" because his love for Andy makes him blind to his serious flaws.

If you don't like Warski/Kino Casino, you might want to consider catching Meme Copium (guy who's also friends with LEEgull MoInDSeT) and his streams about Nick: he's similar to Null in that he's way more calm and collected, but he also has the advantage of being a former watcher of Nick's (and I'm fairly sure he has super chatted Nick years ago) so he has knowledge of a lot of the lore around Nick. He's way more consistently correct in recalling facts and less willing to just making shit up for comedic effect or grandstanding than someone like PPP.

Copium's actually pointed out within the last few streams of his that he's caught Nick lying about not being able to keep up with people covering him (not that we didn't already know), because he's been able to see Nick lurking in chats.

Kino Casino actually covered one of Copium's videos about Nick during their most recent stream, but I've been able to catch some of his prior coverage before they ever brought him up.
 
No other host could create comedy gold like PPP saying Ralph looks like an easter island head, followed Andy looking up a random level in an obscure mario game just to Ralph looks like an enemy in it...that enemy being an easter island head. He was so proud of it too lmao

I do enjoy the show and wish that they took fewer days off. There is a backlog of old drama they never cover due to a larger story taking place. I can’t watch the Rekieta streams without their coverage (pause interruptions).

The last week was totally unwatchable, yes. I couldn't even make it through the Sober Ralph Rekieta stream coverage which says a lot. After a very brief period of watching, I think I'm back to clips only with all the crap edited out.

They should encourage people to pay to request toasts from Ashton or something instead of the "STAND UP! BE COUNTED" or "LET'S GET SOME SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUBS!" which is extremely off-putting and doesn't pass as ironic anymore. If you're listening with it as background noise it's so loud and obnoxious it's not worth watching.

He must have toned it down in the immediate aftermath of the Rekieta thing because he definitely seemed to be not that bad. Now he's interrupting again.

That said the worst part of the show is definitely the LET'S GET SOME SUBS!!! shit and they're both to blame for that.

I have no idea whether it actually works in generating gifted subs but IF it does... it says nothing positive about their paypigs. King Phil's vest goals are higher brow than that shit.
 
Thanks WetBeetus for ruining the show for a week, really appreciate it ya paypig retard. If you're going to drop 1600 subs to someone doing it in small increments is the worst possible way you could go about it, you completely destroyed the first half of that show. Secondly whenever they get a new whale donor the shows go back to 2 a week. They've made their money for the month more or less so now all we're gonna get is them working on clipping up shows and MAYBE some Gumroad. These whales need the validation from their e-celebs so badly they don't even care if they tank the product that they're supporting. The show has been good recently but the first half of the WetBeetus Festival was borderline unwatchable and probably made a shit ton of work for Flaked in terms of editing.
 
Yeah I kind of wish they have a segment in middle or end reading donos and subs. It does break the flow at times stopping repeatedly to read or annouce donos. If they have to, only do it for huge donos or sub counts. Cause ppp and warski easily do get distracted with that stuff, and began going off topic.

That doesn't work because it's pretty clear that the model they want and are comfortable with is the DSP model of a small number of obsessed whales giving large numbers of subs, even though that is a model that doesn't really scale at all.

People say that what Andy brings to the table is OBS skills but what it really is is Whale Relations and maintaining those parasocial links off of the show.

By the way the vest shit and DSP reacting to videos or whatever else he does is a lot less stupid than their hollering to try to generate gifted subs from your paypigs.

In terms of moving the donation segment to the end, they are paying for the show to be about them for a while. A super chat segment at the end doesn't match what they are paying for.

People don't seem to understand, and it's understandable, but Andy does have a bizarre level of charisma for somebody with his level of 'tardation. How else do you explain how he keeps making friends?

I'm so unimpressed by Andy being the tech monkey. Producers are important but Jimmy Fallens's film crew doesn't try to take center stage. The guy is just fine with tech but he's a shit performer. Owning a Davinci Resolve license is not the only prerequisite for being a content creator. Anyone can download obs and transition scenes, it's literally just a single button press when you have the slide made. And he's not even good at managing obs. He constantly moves their camera feed around the screen with no consistency. For how much money they put in their set, their production value is surprisingly low because Andy is not actually that good at running obs.
