According to Jeffree on the Chris Hansen interview, the guy contacted him the next day asking him to take it down. The guy apparently was in politics and didn’t want the video to jeapordize his career. Despite Jeffree claiming in the bio of the video that he never slept with the guy, in the Chris Hansen video I believe Jeffree says that he was just some random guy he picked up at the club. Picking someone up at the club implies you slept with them. What else was disturbing is Jeffree and Hansen were both smiling and I think laughing at one point while trying to down play this video. Either Hansen doesn’t do any research or he just doesn’t care and wants to be on big money mans good side. Considering Hansen’s recent shady tactics, I would hypothesis the latter. It would be interesting to find out exactly who the guy in the video was and get the real story but 1) the guy probably doesn’t even not remember and 2) I don’t have any internet sleuthing skills lmao

I bet if someone went searching throughout Jeffrees old blog post we could find a lot more disturbing information. On top of the self mutilation, LipstickNazi and heroin claims. Considering Jeffree has been on the internet since almost the beginning, he has probably left a breadcrumb trail of his degeneracy.

I can’t help but feel like this new pallet is trying to distract from these disturbing claims coming to light. Everyone is going to be talking about his chalky, dull, repetitive palette instead of focusing on his involvement in the Dahvie Vanity situation. Even if he has been planning this palette for a long time, it still feels like fishy timing.

That, more than anything, lets me know that ol' Jeffy here might have more dirt on more people than we probably realize. You think he wouldn't keep tabs on someone like that?

The only thing we know is that the guy's probably not connected to the Clintons. Otherwise, Jeffree would probably, I dunno, died from something exceptional like hanged himself on hair extensions after getting out of the shower or something while all the security cameras turned off.

The woman is Roxie Moreno / RadicalRoxie (Instagram), a generic Makeup artist and hairstylist in LA, working(currently?) at Bombshell. Jeffree's "best friend" from around '08-'11, considering his antics from around that time she probably has a lot of dirt on him that never made it into the public eye.

If you google 'Jeffree Star Cremated' there are a lot of articles on celeb gossip sites about the bAcKlAsH he is facing for this collection... The reaction seems weird and manufactured, like PR disguised as (false) outrage. I might gather some articles together later, though none of them are interesting so far.
 
I like the colors, but it's the same shit different day with Jeffree.It always cracks me up what people get upset about. All this has proven to me is people REALLY hate James Charles. With Projared/Slazo people really hated the people who accused them, with Jeffree?

If I knew "It was a different time" was a valid excuse I would have taken The Offspring's advice and done a lot more crazy shit back in the MySpace days.

It just ridiculous that other creators get cancelled for one insensitive joke they did 10 years ago while Jeffree gets off Scott free for shit like this. Where do you draw the line? Also, I feel like “it was the time back than” isn’t an excuse for kicking an semi unconscious man down the stairs. It’s not an excuse for kicking people in the face and tazering them. He can say whatever he wants, but it’s not “the time” it’s that he’s just a shitty person. After diving into Jeffrees past and discovering the LipstickNazi brand, it makes me reconsider all the drama with his former friend Kat von Dee. If I can remember correctly I believe she just got recently cancelled for writing some Nazi joke on one of her past colleagues stuff. I believe she said something about it being a joke and that’s what people used to joke about back in the day. I remember a lot of people giving her shit and calling her a Nazi. Yet no one has said anything about Jeffrees LipstickNazi. It makes me semi think that Kat got the short end of the stick and saying “it was just the time back than” is a valid excuse for this situation. However I may have all my facts wrong on that situation, I just know she got cancelled over past Nazi comments, yet it feels like a theme in that community. Sorry if this isn’t the place to bring this up, I am new here.

I was thinking that same thing. Palette drama is probably seen as “safe drama” for Jeffree. All the other stuff is a PR nightmare. If all the drama pages focus on the palette outrage, it will cover up the Dahvie Vanity allegations. I saw this earlier last month with a different “scandal” (if you could even call it that) that jeffee was in. I saw drama channels posting videos about “does jeffree treat his dogs well!?” I literally don’t know ANYONE who was saying jeffree doesn’t treat his dogs well. Other than maybe the puppies having access to a fireplace, I feel like no one can say anything about dog abuse. Jeffree treats his dogs like royalty. However for some reason drama channels we’re dedicating full videos to this, instead of talking about the Dahvie Vanity situation (which was at a high at that point.) I noticed this page was talking about the dogs as well and that’s why I decided to join and share what I knew. I feel like by not focusing on what Jeffree did in his shady past, we are allowing him to bury it.
 
Kat Von D allegedly wrote "burn in hell jew bag" on a photo of herself (that was also autographed) that was given to the owner of the tattoo shop where she worked, the one that was featured in a reality show years ago (can't even remember the name). But AFAIK Kat has always denied that she even wrote that. And that was known long before she was cancelled btw. It was only when people decided they really wanted to cancel her, did it suddenly matter.

But the point still stands. Even Kat Von D was cancelled for less than what has come out about Jeffree. This is one reason why cancel culture is so stupid, it isn't applied consistently, so how can anyone honestly feel righteous and virtuous participating in it?
 
It was KVD's antivax stance that ultimately took her down. People boycotted her company over it, which was successful in forcing her out.

I can accept that people change, and all too often "we" don't allow people an evolution. However, I want to hear how the change came about. You can't just say "It was 1873, I'm a different person now! Times were different! I've changed!" Okay. How'd you get there? I want to know the process, the steps, the pain, the epiphanies, and the penance. Because if someone can't tell me those things in detail, nor do they offer them up for examination, then all I'm looking at is a costume.

He was a young man filled with hatred and rage and now he's allegedly not. Great. So how'd you get there?

He seemed more upset about those situations then he was the TWO pedophiles that he ran with back in the day and his break-up.
There are always millions of excuses as to why Jeffree gets a pass for certain things, but look how people treat the actual females in the BG world? They do one thing and it sticks.
Growth seems to only be allowed for Jeffree/Shane but no one else.

I think it was the combination of owning a successful makeup company and realizing that he can't say the n-word anymore and be agro otherwise he will get cancelled and lose his house. And MAYBE he is mellowing out since he is getting older. :optimistic:

Yeah, age can do a lot to take that edge off, but that's external. I'm interested in the internalities. Money and the fear of losing everything he built will also superficially dull that bleeding edge.

That first apology vid he made where he's wearing that white sweater I thought was one of the better apologies I've heard. I think it gained him some slack, because people can and do change.

But.

He continued after that. Even if you were to ignore all that Dahvie horror coming back from the grave, he has continued to be a spastic asshole since that apology video.

Kat Von D's husband is Rafael Reyes from the band Prayers and he's Mexican, so I dunno why he'd be all 'white power'. I know he has a swastika on his neck but he claims it's for spiritual reasons. It is a Hindu symbol that the Nazis co-opted. Kat gives me huge anti Semitic vibes no matter her denials.
