Nazi imagery for shock value is old hat. See: New Zealand Mongrel Mob gang, Prince William's bad party outfit choice, and 14 year old boys in toilet stalls with a sharpie. Still, that shock value aged like milk in the sun.

Being edgy and gory was all the rage back in the 00s. Part of the emo/scene shtick was glorifying self harm. Doesn't make it right but hundreds of people portrayed that kinda stuff back then.

Still makes Jeffree a huge hypocrite since he said in the Shane Dawson documentary he’s never done drugs or drank alcohol

Edit: also, don’t know if you all have seen the video Jeffree made of him filming a guy puking in the toilet and saying how he just fucked him. (If you all have, I accept my late emotes) The guy is basically passed out, incoherent and can’t walk. At one point jeffree says “don’t choke on your own vomit and die” and than kicks him down the stairs. in the same livestream ( but a second video) petty Paige admits that jeffree star makes friends with drama channels so they won’t speak badly about him. On top of this, she admits to knowing the information Jeffree Star was going to release about James Charles.

Petty Paige also uploaded a video exposing DMs from Jeffree Star showing he was aware of the situation with Dahvie for awhile but didn’t come out and say anything. However the weird part is that Petty Paige got her video removed without the option to appeal which is odd in the YouTube world. Jeffree star already has admitted he has connections at YouTube to get his stuff on the front page, so it wouldn’t be a suprise if he knew someone who could take things down. I have the removed video link and a livestream by creep show art going over the situation with how the video was taken down.

It would seem that Jeffree has had the videos made by Paige and a few others taken down. There are a few videos floating around discussing whether it was Jeffree or YouTube acting on Jeffree’s behalf. In the past, he has bragged about how easy it is for him to get on YouTube’s recommended page because he knows the person who runs it. There is some discussion about whether or not he used those connections with YouTube to have them act on his behalf in this instance as well.
Either way, not a good look.

In regards to Jeffree bragging about having youtube connections I find it weird they would even help him considering he has been trying to take down their golden boy James Charles, but I suppose they will try to protect any assets they have. I am glad Paige has started speaking out about all the behind the scenes fuckery Jeffree gets up to with the drama channels. Rich Lux and the rest need to get off that payroll too.

Original or not ... The new palette is effing gorgeous, aside from the hideous packaging.

This is the first time I've actually flat-out said "I want that!" when it comes to a Jeffree Star eyeshadow palette. Don't worry, though: Still not getting it.

I find the timing of this palette hilarious. Cremation/morgue-themed makeup during a pandemic ... I know that Jeffree didn't intentionally plan it this way, but it's still pretty funny to me.

The makeup bags in this collection are stunning, too. I probably would have gotten them had the recent events about Jeffree Star not happened, to be honest.

Oh good, so it's not just me. In my head though it's "DER VAMPYR! The living dead in aristocratic guise!"
 
At first glance it seemed like an intriguing color story- until the realization that the transition shades are barely distinct from one another. Can't help but think the shadows would just blend away into nothing.

This should have been an 18-pan palette. There are too many similar shades, the bottom two rows especially. Pass.

Agree, while so many shades are beautiful, there are too may duplicates.

Also, I wish he had just put his face on the disposable sleeve and left the actual palette with only the marble design.

It's reminiscent of a recent Colourpop palette I've already forgotten the name of.

And that was the Venus Immortalis. This is about what I expected from Cremated. It's like if there was an XL version of Venus Immortalis and while I don't care about "copying" and I'm not suggesting that he did, Cremated appears to have the same issue the Venus XL palettes had: Duplicates, and despite how many shades it has there's only two transitions (again, taking duplicates into account). And those two transitions will arguably look similar on the eye because even though one is brown and the other gray they're still pretty close imo.

That being said if these are the colors you wear, then you know you're going to get a lot of use out if it. I can't see this breaking the internet though and maybe he knows it and that's why it's LiMitEd eDiTiOn even though something like this makes more sense as a permanent edition to the line.. I can foresee a bit of reeeing about how this won't have much utility for those with deeper skin tones.
 
The palette is quite lovely (aside from all the dupes) and has piqued my interest. I'm waiting for Lyfe of Free Spirit to suggest that this is Jeffree being racist again because it may not look glorious on anyone without a cool toned complexion. Maybe she has already, I don't keep up with the snore of a bitch.
